No. It is only in terms of the form aggregate that it is established as the nature of form. Because it is encompassed by Nacaśrātmakaḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and pure form, there is no doubt about the many seeds in between, so think this way. The Sutra is taught by the Bhagavan in accordance with the thoughts of the beings to be tamed, so one should not think about its weight or lightness. The teacher also said that what is taught in the Sutra is not contradictory, just as it is said here that form is the first. Therefore, in order to show the words of the Bhagavan, it is said, "The Bhagavan said this," and so on. Or, whatever exists in the world as the nature of the black deer (Sanskrit: krishna sāra) and the petals of the blue lotus is called the eye, and the consciousness of the eye relies on it, because it is said in this inverted way, so even for the eye that does not have the characteristics of color and shape, it is called the pure form that is the basis of eye consciousness, and similarly, it should be said for others as well. Others say that there are two kinds of bases for the consciousness of form, etc., namely the eye, etc., and purity. There are three kinds of purity, namely the initial purity, the purity of the form of the birth place, and the purity of the form of the sense faculty. Among them, saying the basis of their consciousness is to distinguish it from the purity of the form of the birth place. Saying form is to distinguish it from the nature of purity. Saying purity is to distinguish it from attention. If it is said that faith, etc., are not the basis of consciousness, so is it not already excluded by merely saying the basis of their consciousness? If you ask this, then saying form is meaningless, and purity is what is desired by the Nottpiso (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) consciousness that has become the immediately preceding cause, therefore, like attention, it is the basis of consciousness that has become the immediately preceding cause. For one, also because it is combined with the collection and appears as having a similar cause, it is permissible to say that the basis of consciousness is the first, but this is not the case, because it contradicts the treatises. In the treatises, the basis of eye consciousness, etc., is said. If this is the case, then mental events are the basis, so the bases also become many, if you say this, consciousness is combined with other consciousness.

It is not like that. It is said that the condition depends on giving the opportunity for the previous consciousness to cease and the subsequent consciousness to arise. In that case, the mental factors do not cease together with the mind. The opportunity for consciousness to arise from what has ceased, if those are thoroughly understood as the condition as well, then there is no certainty in this, because what is the cause of something is not its condition. Otherwise, other arising things also obtain the condition of arising, and this is also not accepted. In the scriptures, it is said that the mind itself is the condition of the mental factors because they arise together. Mental factors are not the condition of the mind. Otherwise, the establishment of mind and mental factors will be confused. Or, what are these things like eyes that are mentioned, which appear extensively, where, although things like eyes are definite, they seem to be related to those sounds. It seems that the scriptures also say eye consciousness, ear consciousness, in order to show the consciousnesses of the senses. In this way, the six consciousnesses will be shown without being confused. It is not because of the objects, because there, there is no distinction between the consciousnesses of the eyes and so on and the mind consciousness. Therefore, if it is said in that way, it will also be in accordance with the treatises. If so, since they are mutual conditions, will the ability not change? The condition of eye consciousness is form and so on. What is eye consciousness? It is the separate recognition of forms and so on based on the eye, and these are recognized as not being mutual conditions, but as being very different, so that is the knower of the other. The teacher Samghabhadra says, in order to refute the ear sense, the previous word is the nature of form and so on, because that is not the nature of the condition of eye consciousness. Therefore, there is no fault of becoming the eye and so on themselves. The latter word is to refute the condition of uninterrupted cessation, even the condition of eye consciousness and so on themselves, does not have its nature of form and so on, therefore, there is no fault of becoming the eye and so on themselves. The former is with the eye of equal share, and the latter is with that equal share.
