It does not refer to hesitation and doubt. Because it is the affliction of one's own nature, greed and so on are not all, nor are they at all times. Ignorance is at all times, but not without categories, because all that is possessed is distinguished like greed and so on, just as greed and so on. For doubt, although all are present, it is not firmly grasped. Therefore, it is not said to be in their place. Because it arises, there is existence, which means that whatever arises from all is what is manifested. In that case, there is no fault in the path either. Alternatively, the word 'existence' is defined by the five aggregates of appropriation, so it definitely refers to those themselves. Because the sutra says, 'What is existence? It is the five aggregates of appropriation.' Alternatively, because the entry of defiled phenomena arises, it is called existence. Others say that because it arises from this and arises in this, it is craving. Moreover, the word "འང་" is the meaning of closely gathering categories such as those with confusion. Thus, these are the elaborations of 'with defilements.' From 'the aggregates of appropriation' to 'existence,' these are the categories of defilements that follow the meaning of the aggregates of appropriation and so on, which are explained as they are, and are similar, consistent, and analogous to the meaning of defilements. When it is said, 'The five aggregates, such as form,' the word 'to that' is meant to be an explanation that is directed towards the aggregates, such as form. Form is the five faculties and the objects. Five and non-revealing. When form is mentioned, it should be understood that it is the form of the aggregates in this context, not the form of the sense base. The enumeration in both cases is because the faculties and objects are many. It should be understood that it is intended to manifest the eyes and so on, and forms and so on, because all are accepted as being of the nature of form, and because the aggregate of form is shown through the subject and object. Non-revealing is included in the sphere of phenomena, so it is within the five meanings.

Since the aggregation of the three is not the object of the five faculties, it is shown separately. The word "ཉིད་ཀྱི་" means that it must be grasped, that is, it is not merely discernible, in order to cut off the other than that, the form included in the dharma-sphere, which is fabricated by the Sutra school and others. The word "དང་" means to gather. The eyes, etc., are understood by the consciousness of which, so it is meaning, that is, the meaning of understanding. Here it is shown that the form aggregate is one part of the twelve sources. If what is the characteristic of these? Therefore, it is said: "The basis of their consciousness, eyes, etc., are pure in form." It means that the word "彼" is for the sake of offering in the middle, acknowledging what is known in the world, and should be combined with the meanings of form, etc. In the world, it is said "mind of form", "mind of sound", showing consciousness from the perspective of the object, not from the perspective of consciousness. The basis of those consciousnesses is the consciousness of those, as it is said: "Because of the change of those, because of the nature of change, the basis is the eyes, etc." The so-called "five pure natures of form" means having the nature of form. Understanding the meaning beyond the faculties is transformed from scripture or reason, and for those who do not believe, mere words are not worthy of respect. In order to prove this, "eyes, etc., are pure in form," the Blessed One spoke extensively, and the meaning of "དང་" in it is like this: For example, in a mirror or a water vessel, relying on form, its appearance, an image, appears, similarly, for the five pure natures of form, also relying on form, etc., the consciousness of its appearance arises. Here, since there is no difference in the pure nature of form, and there is no difference in the object of reliance, it is necessary to distinguish the eyes, etc., from each other and from the mind. Therefore, both "the basis of their consciousness" and "pure in form" are spoken. Among them, the eyes, etc., can be distinguished from each other only through "the basis of their consciousness."

It (the scripture) says: The support of the consciousness of form is only the eye, and not the ear, etc. Likewise, until the support of the consciousness of touch is only the body, and not the eye, etc. If it is so, then, "The five, they are also born together with it," because it is said, although there is, it will also become the fault of the eye, etc., because it is also its support. If asked: Is it so? Therefore, it is said that form and combination. The support of those consciousnesses, what are those who have the nature of form and combination, those are only the eye, etc., and not the mind, it should be known like this. If asked: Then what is the non-meaning of saying form? Answer: The support of those consciousnesses, the combination of the eye, etc., this is because the earth is established. Those who have form or those who do not have form, the support of those consciousnesses, there is no difference from the combination. What is said in the sutra that saying form in the meaning of difference will become meaningful. Thus, if the sutra does not say the difference of the support of the consciousness of the eye, etc., then only the treatise should be read. Because it is also said in it. Thus, if form is said for the meaning of no hesitation, then knowing with many meanings will become the fault of the combination of the eye, etc. Because form is said, it shows that the summary is close to being eliminated. Whoever, because of knowing the support of the consciousness of the eye, etc., the combination is not the nature of form. Thus, meaningfulness, because form is said, this says that the treatise has been damaged, so says the scholar virtue Sangha. What is said in the sutra, the difference of the support of the consciousness of the eye, etc. is not said. Saying form is harmless, that is also unreasonable, because it is said that the great elements are the cause. Saying form is meaningless, because there is no combination of non-form, the great elements are the cause. Therefore, the sutra should also say the combination of the great elements as the cause, and not say the combination of form. Here, it is unreasonable to say form in order to eliminate the summary of multi-meaning.
