Obtaining the transcendent result, the unpolluted, unconditioned, and truly obtained, is called the object of truly obtaining Nirvana. That is the establishment of abandonment. It is truly encompassed by the continuum of Nirvana with residue and without residue of aggregates. It is also one of the establishments of the result of cultivating antidotes. The meaning of the words of the establishment of its result, etc., have been explained. Regarding the establishment of the cause of application, it is said in the Vinaya well-spoken for the cause of application to the cultivation of antidotes, "Herein is established the worldly right view." Among them, in the Vinaya well-spoken, what is the establishment of the worldly right view? In the Vinaya well-spoken, this worldly right view is indicated by the object of being the crest jewel of all the right views of the outsiders. Among them, the so-called Vinaya well-spoken is the speech of the Sugata. The so-called well-spoken is the holy Dharma, the pure conduct, initially virtuous, intermediately virtuous, finally virtuous, and so on. The so-called Vinaya is the eightfold noble path, namely, right view, right thought, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration are Dharma; right speech, right action, and right livelihood are Vinaya. The so-called worldly right view is the right view encompassed by the roots of virtue that are in accordance with the part of liberation and the part of ascertainment, from the initial generation of the mind up to all the paths of accumulation and application, namely, the view that giving, offerings, actions, results, parents, and Arhats exist, and so on. It is said that this is the object of being the crest jewel of all the right views of the outsiders. The so-called outsider is the outsider, heretic, and other worldly people outside of the Sugata's teaching. Their right views are related to perversion. Their right views surpass the crest jewel, which is this Dharma...

The worldly right view, as stated in the scriptures: "The worldly right view, if a great one possesses it, they will not fall into evil realms for thousands of kalpas." Therefore, that itself is the cause of cultivation. Regarding the cause of cultivation, the meaning of the words that establish it, etc., have already been explained. The establishment of its opposing aspect is that the opposing aspect of the cause of cultivation is the establishment of complete loss through non-cultivation. Having said this, what is completely lost through cultivation? It is shown by saying that it is the thing that is completely lost through non-cultivation. That refers to the well-spoken Vinaya Pitaka, which is the worldly right view. If one does not cultivate it, how will it be completely lost? Therefore, it is said that the well-spoken Vinaya Pitaka is completely lost through non-cultivation. Not cultivating that cause of cultivation means completely losing it through the loss of what has not been attained. It is not due to the fault of view, because there is no fault of view in this well-spoken Vinaya Pitaka. Thus, regarding the freedom of the four, nine, or twenty-nine objects, etc., and the Blessed One only showing above the collection of the objects of all dharmas, that is the Sutra Pitaka. Among the twelve divisions of the teachings included in the sacred scriptures, the Sutra section, the Geya section, the Vyakarana section, the Gatha section, and the Udana section are the Sutra Pitaka of the Hearers. The Vaipulya section and the Adbhuta-dharma section are the Sutra Pitaka of the Bodhisattvas. Sometimes, it is also said that the other ten, excluding the Nidana section and the Jataka section, are the Sutra Pitaka of both. Below that, regarding the freedom of showing the nature of the Vinaya, it is said, "Manjushri, where I am with the assembly of Hearers and the assembly of Bodhisattvas," etc. Among them, the Pratimoksha refers to the seven assemblies: monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen,

What is the Vinaya Pitaka that is encompassed by the discipline of tranquility? That is, the distinctions, root, branches, and questions and answers of the four Vinayas, which have been widely transmitted from the mother of the Pratimoksha Sutra, are the praises spoken by the Tathagata. The so-called "possessing Pratimoksha" means distinguishing them. If they are distinguished, then the root, branches, and questions and answers also arise incidentally, so it should be known that all four parts of the Vinaya are included. The so-called "that is the substance of the Vinaya" means that possessing Pratimoksha is the meaning of being the mother of the Vinaya. If the mother of the Vinaya is briefly summarized, it has ten meanings. What are the ten? They are benefit, category, collection, following, discordance, harmony, near peace, complete knowledge, faith and increase, and strength. What is benefit? The Tathagata truly saw ten benefits, so he established the basis of learning for the Shravakas in the Vinaya, namely, for the sake of gathering the Sangha, for the sake of making the Sangha excellent, for the sake of making the Sangha dwell in peace, for the sake of subduing disrespectful beings, for the sake of making those who know shame dwell in peace, for the sake of making those who have not believed believe, for the sake of making those who have believed increase their faith, for the sake of protecting the defilements of this life, for the sake of destroying the defilements of future lives, and for the sake of making my pure conduct benefit many beings, and also for the sake of truly revealing it among gods and humans and abiding for a long time. What are the categories? They are the five categories of offenses and the four categories of liberation from offenses. The five categories of offenses are Parajika, Sanghavasesa, Patayantika, Pratidesaniya, and Dukkata. The Thullaccaya, Nissaggiya Patayantika, and Aniyata are all included in these, so it should be known accordingly. The four categories of liberation from offenses are liberation from the other four categories of offenses other than Parajika. However, although there are those who are liberated from Parajika, that is the...
