Ah! Those who do not obey the sacred Dharma, even if measured by money, cannot be conquered. Please strengthen your resolve and always be before my eyes. As for the foolish, the poor, and those with wrong beliefs, and those who do evil, The greedy, the ungrateful, the taciturn, the fierce and cruel, Do not let them settle in your land. If your policies are wise and correct, They will surely burn like a raging fire from top to bottom. If your actions are evil and unjust, You will surely fall into the abyss from bottom to bottom. Just as the leader of the herd leads the herd forward, If you embark on the path of deceit and cunning, The people will also follow your path of deceit, Your country will surely decline. Please, like the moon waning from full, Reduce all kinds of evils. Please, like the waxing moon, Make the country prosperous and strong. Please enact laws to protect the sacred Dharma, For those who destroy the sacred Dharma, And those who disobey the law, Punish them severely like hail hitting crops. Let them become deaf and mute, and blind. Do not be lazy and懈怠, do not indulge yourself. The Lord of Death is not familiar with anyone, It will come suddenly. Do not always think about doing it tomorrow, Practice the sacred Dharma diligently immediately. When the Lord of Death comes, Except for good and evil, Everything else will be abandoned, No one will follow you. Please be discerning and practice virtue. The great scholar Nagarjuna, Wrote in a letter to King Dechok Zangpo: Knowing that worldly pleasures are illusory and impermanent, You should give alms to monks, Brahmins, the poor, and friends in accordance with the Dharma. In the next life, there are no other supreme relatives other than almsgiving. You should not create evil deeds for the sake of monks, Brahmins, Guests, parents, children, and concubines, And dependents, otherwise you will not escape the retribution of hell. Even if the evil deeds you have committed, Do not harm the body immediately like swords, But wherever you go, it will follow you like a shadow. For this body that depends on liberation, Others cannot provide any help, Therefore, you must rely on your own efforts. Life is short, full of variables, like a candle in the wind, More fragile than a water bubble. Between inhaling, exhaling, falling asleep, and waking up,

Ah, those are wonderful! The body eventually turns to ashes, eventually dries up and rots, eventually becomes unclean, without essence, completely decaying and putrefying, know that this is the nature of separation. Like a hole in a yoke floating in the ocean, and a turtle sticking its head in, it is very difficult to obtain a human body from the animal realm, therefore, O King, practice the Dharma, and make it fruitful. Some people use vessels adorned with gold and jewels to hold vomit and rags, some people are born as humans and commit sins, these people are very foolish. Sons, consorts, parents, and retinues, there is no certainty, they are just blown away by the red hurricane of karma, do not cling to them, a father may be a son, a mother may be a wife, an enemy may be a friend, and vice versa, therefore, there is no certainty in samsara. Do not be discouraged, these are all deceiving demons, do not pray endlessly. This is a beneficial and supreme teaching, you must tame your mind, the Blessed One said: The mind is the root of the Dharma. More than precious ornaments, to the supreme Dharma and the speaker of Dharma, you should give the highest respect and reverence, rise from your seat, scatter flowers and listen to the Dharma, and also give the gift of Dharma, do not like worldly talk, like that which transcends the world. In order to subdue the retinues, be firm, stable and certain, speak unchanging teachings. Do not be like an ear hole that is too big, or frivolous and swaying for the sake of infatuating women, or like blowing an empty reed. Do not be angry over small matters. How to govern the country, how to bring happiness to the people, how to subdue the enemies worthy of offering, how to govern the country with Dharma, think carefully and accomplish it. For things that are uncertain to succeed or fail, do not speak immediately. As long as you live, practice the Dharma, do not be stingy and obstruct, give everything. You will abandon all possessions and die alone, everything done for the sake of Dharma will come before you. Do not place hope in the subjects, practice quickly while you are alive. Crest
