Ga. Once wealth or wisdom is acquired, one thinks of all beings as grass. Like a fox with a blue outer skin. Once one possesses wealth or wisdom, the inferior ones become arrogant. Those with second-class status, the wise become very humble. Living by unprofitable trade and those who have retinues. Begging and being arrogant, having no wealth but delighting in desires. Riding women and speaking harsh words, these five are the evil deeds of men. Even though a peacock is tormented by the heat of summer, it would rather hope for the rain in the sky. It would not defile its throat, which is praised by arrogance, by drinking the dirty water of a muddy pond. Even though a partridge sustains its life with drops of dew, it would rather face the fear of being captured than beg from Indra. If one knows these principles, what is the need for a teacher? If the disease is cured, what is the need for a doctor? If one has crossed the river, what is the need for a boatman? If one is free from attachment, what can a beautiful woman do? As long as the wicked are weak, until then their nature is good. The water of the autumn river is easily crossed by all. Where mice store things, cats guard the butter there, crows do the cleaning work there, what need is there to say about such things? Where there are many who speak flattery, everyone is arrogantly self-righteous, everyone wants to be the leader, such a group becomes fearful. Engaging in sexual activity during the day and sleeping during the day, drinking newly brewed wine and yogurt, eating dried meat and sleeping with old women, these six things rob the body of its strength. For those who are not feared even when angry, and cannot help even when happy, who cannot be punished or subdued, what is the use of his anger? When disease and poverty occur, in times of famine and fear from enemies, the king's gate and the abode of Yama, these are all the enemies of everything. One engages in worldly affairs for necessary purposes, but not for sacred purposes. Seeing that the calf has drunk all the milk, it is like the cow being abandoned far away. Separated from suffering, despised by one's own people, relying on many deaf and dumb children and foolish people. Being seen as poor and abandoned by friends, these five are like burning the body without fire. If someone does not pacify the growing disharmony, just like the dripping of honey, it will lead to the destruction of the country and its surroundings. If someone relies on those who have virtue, even the holy ones will feel regret.

Merit does not abandon. Even though the nature of the sun is scorched by heat, it does not abandon the cold nature of snow. Wishing for sins to be exhausted, have faith in the Sugata. Wishing for fortune to be exhausted, associate with evil people. Wishing for lineage to be exhausted, marry a mute woman. Wishing for grains to be exhausted, generate heat in the stomach. Blinded by desire, one does not see sin. A blind person does not see forms. Arrogance does not see faults. Self-grasping does not see the truth. A king, a canal, a creeper, and a blind woman, these five, however they are led by cunning intelligence, those who are led become subject to others. After happiness comes suffering, and after suffering comes happiness. The happiness and suffering of people, like a wheel, turn around and around. Those unseen will appear in front, and again will disappear. What is that of yours? And what are you? Who will grieve for it? Just like those trees, floating together in the great ocean, separated by the waves, who will grieve for that? One with great intelligence overcomes strength with anger, but an evil person is quickly defeated by anger. Why should an evil thought, defeated by defeat, contend with those who possess wisdom? With great effort, one can lift a boulder to the top of a mountain, but with a slight push, it will roll down. This is similar to one's own merits and faults. If someone engages in actions that should not be done, then they will surely be destroyed, like a monkey delivering a puppy. Completely abandoning one's own side, and delighting in the side of others, then they will surely perish, like the red king. In the sky, astrologers calculate and understand the paths of the moon and stars, but they do not see the various evil deeds of servants and families in their own homes. The crescent moon appears in clear water, but you want to take the roots of the lotus. Where has your wisdom gone today, the wisdom that could initially distinguish water and milk? If someone wants to do a great deed, even if they only want to do a little, they should strive to do it, it is said to be the work of a lion. How to govern a kingdom, how to subdue contentious enemies, do not place expectations on subjects, but accomplish it quickly while you are alive. In the heart...
