应当如是施予。贤者于痈肿病时所说的，治疗亦可用于麻风病。如是说，医术精湛者所说的痈肿病之疗法，亦可如病症对治一般用于麻风病。名为《八支精要释·词义月光》者，乃导师月喜（月护）所著，为医方第十六品之释。之后，当说痈肿病之疗法。如是说，依次第，为说痈肿病之疗法故，而著此品。痈肿病遍及诸肢节，病生未成熟之时，首先禁食，食用清淡食物。菝蕫、梣皮、白鲜皮及，毒芹、油菜籽与小豆蔻，煎煮温水饮用之。如是说，痈肿病之相，遍及身体的所有肢节，由各种病因，二种或全部病因集合而生者，最初唯应禁食，之后给予米粥等多种食物。其后，饮用菝蕫等煎煮的温水。或者佐以诃子，或梣皮、蔓菁煎煮，或佐以九味铁粉饮用。如是说，或者诃子、胜者等的汁液，禁食并食用清淡食物后饮用。或者九味铁粉，如麻风病治疗时所说，与温水混合饮用。痈肿病盛时，诃子与牛尿混合饮用以清净。如是说，痈肿病剧烈之时，则饮用诃子与牛尿的混合物，以清净身体。三果汤中加入阿魏、石蜜，长胡椒、荜茇、干姜，如是说，或者在三果汤中加入阿魏、石蜜，以及长胡椒、荜茇、干姜等药物饮用。或者如是与没药，或石沥青混合饮用。如是说，或者将三果汤的汁液与没药或石沥青中的任何一种混合饮用。火候小且未成熟时，沉重粘稠阻塞或腹泻，长胡椒、荜茇、干姜和盐肤木，蜂蜜或红糖混合，或诃子与粗糖混合，粗糖蜜饯混合

Thus it is said, the treatments for tumors explained by skilled physicians can also be applied to leprosy, just as the disease is treated. The one called "Essence of the Eight Branches Commentary: Moon Rays of the Meaning of Words" was composed by the teacher Zla-ba-la-dga' (Candranandin), and is the commentary on the sixteenth chapter of the medical section. After that, the treatment of tumors will be explained. Thus it is said, in order, this chapter is composed to explain the treatment of tumors. Tumors involve all the limbs, and when the disease arises immature, first, fasting is done, and light food is eaten. Smilax china, Fraxinus, Dictamnus dasycarpus, Oenanthe javanica, Brassica campestris and Nardostachys jatamansi, the warm water boiled with them should be drunk. Thus it is said, the nature of tumors involves all the limbs of the body, and for those that arise from various causes, two or all causes combined, only fasting should be done at first, and after that, plenty of food such as rice porridge should be given. After that, drink warm water boiled with Smilax china and so on. Or with Terminalia chebula, or Fraxinus, Brassica rapa boiled, or with nine iron powders should be drunk. Thus it is said, or the juice of Terminalia chebula, the victorious one, etc., should be drunk after fasting and eating light food. Or nine iron powders, as said in the treatment of leprosy, should be mixed with warm water and drunk. When tumors are severe, Terminalia chebula mixed with cow urine should be drunk for purification. Thus it is said, when tumors are severe, a mixture of Terminalia chebula and cow urine should be drunk to purify the body. Boil three fruits, add asafoetida, rock candy, long pepper, Piper longum, and ginger. Thus it is said, or in the decoction of three fruits, add asafoetida, rock candy, and medicines such as long pepper, Piper longum, and ginger to drink. Or similarly mixed with myrrh, or mineral pitch to drink. Thus it is said, or mix the juice of three fruits with either myrrh or mineral pitch to drink. For excessive wind, meat broth and food should be given. This method can eliminate bloating disease and other diseases up to the end of mucus. Ghost diseases include causing madness and causing forgetfulness, etc. The juice of rock candy and coltsfoot, boiled and infused with milk and butter, even if bloating disease, fainting, ascites, decreased body temperature, and being suppressed by disease, can become disease-free.
