These are the three kinds of distinctions. Here, either the two distinctions of 'non-conceptual' and 'non-erroneous' exist only in reality, and are not mistaken. The nature of clinging exists only in non-reality, and that alone is pervasive, because whatever is the basis changes to that, and because it does not exist on that. There is also confusion on that, like the blueness of a lotus. It is also said that it does not exist in the consciousness of the senses. This is said when it is on the side of many fruits. This shows that because the very act of naming is impossible, the very act of not naming is not mistaken. Why not? It is said, 'Because it is the object of inference,' and so on. What is to be shown in name is the general, not the specific characteristic, because it has not been seen before. That general is also the object of inference only, because fire and so on are inferred by smoke and so on in common with what has been seen before. It is not direct perception, because it is the nature of having a non-common object. If it is said that the object may become non-conceptual, but the knowledge is conceptual, therefore there is conceptualization, and because there is also error from that, the distinction of non-conceptualization is reasonable, then here it is also said that the knowledge itself, which is not to be shown by its own nature, is reasonably non-conceptual. It is said, 'There is no error even in non-conceptualization itself,' why? It is said, 'Sense consciousness,' and so on, because all knowledge is only the nature of non-conceptualization, therefore, there is only no error in non-conceptualization itself. If it is said, 'What is not to be shown by what nature is non-conceptual?' Such a thing is also impossible, because all knowledge is only conceptual in the manner of generality. This also refutes the opponent's person. Because it is taken with a subject, there is no word to show similarity to the knowledge that becomes for the sake of naming, just as what is to be understood by speech, because the word 'to others' is added.

It is knowing form, it is knowing taste, because it makes the sound related to the object. At that time, it also becomes born from the sound that should be indicated. Therefore, if asked, isn't it the case that which has the function of distinguishing is not a term? Answer: At the time of holding the meaning, if it is not making a sound that shows similarity, at that time, because it is not a term, then there is no confusion about the fact that it is certainly not something to be indicated, and this is taken. Even at the time of the term, because the self-nature of knowledge cannot be made into a term, for a while, that object also cannot be made into a term in its own nature, then by what does it show other terms? It is not that it becomes born from the sound from the term, so what is it? Because it is something to be said, this is an unexamined statement. It is also not in the object of confusion itself, it is followed by the acceptance of being real. Because the mind is the object of confusion itself, etc., confusion is not like that, how this closely focuses on it, just like that, it is not that it does not exist, like the object of mirages, etc. That is also only not becoming confused in relation to which knowledge appears with its own nature, wherever it appears separately to knowledge with a nature that is not like that, only in front of that, that is confusion itself. The mind's consciousness also appears separately and individually to confusion in that way, thus even for the aggregation of elements that are not the nature of water, etc., the mind's confusion arises that is particularly attached to the nature of water, etc. Therefore, because it is examined by it, only that is its object, not the sense consciousness. Therefore, it is not necessary to say that there is no confusion in order to distinguish it. If that is not there, then doesn't the consciousness of two moons, etc., which has a confused object and is born from the destruction of the senses, also become direct perception? Therefore, in order to eliminate it, must it be done? It is not there, because merely saying that it is in accordance with the meaning has already abandoned it. Otherwise, it should be said that it is born from the senses,
