It should be explained as follows. That is, only on that, the opposite side that contradicts the favorable side does not exist only. The word "only" has the meaning of not completely cutting off the existence on the favorable side, and thus it cuts off that, and only the opposite side that needs to be established can be understood. If it is understood that only the opposite side needs to be established to be cut off, then how can unwanted results not arise from this? The answer is: such as "it is also like this" and so on. Think like this: the reason that deviates from the opposite side, for the favorable side, can only be understood without what is to be established, but not for neither warm nor cold. The opposite side is also only the contradictory cold, and from this, such as "here is warm, because there is fire," this example, fire does not exist cold, can understand what is to be established, but not that neither warm nor cold does not exist. This is also desired, because the touch of neither warm nor cold does not exist outside of cold and warm, but exists outside of the differences of touch such as softness and roughness. Thus, the scriptures have declared the nature of eleven touches, and there is no mention of the touch of neither warm nor cold. Therefore, softness and so on are neither warm nor cold. They also only exist in any one direction, that is, the direction where warm touch exists. Therefore, wherever warm touch exists, it is only that the touch of neither warm nor cold will not be cut off. If the touch of neither warm nor cold is different from softness and so on, that is also possible. Even so, just as warm touch contradicts cold touch, it also contradicts neither warm nor cold, because they cannot coexist. If it is not contradictory, then because they coexist, wherever warm touch exists, it is only that it will not be cut off. If there is no it, if fire cannot understand, then it is okay not to understand, but if it exists but cannot understand, there will be faults, and it is also desired not to understand non-existence, and it will also lead to unwanted results. In this "can be understood for touch," the word touch refers to having it.

The word 'entering into the direction' is logic. Why? Because fire is not cold, it makes it known to the touch that it is warm, but it is neither not warm nor not cold, nor is it non-existent. That is also accepted. Therefore, whatever previously only distinguishes from contradiction, it should not become a fault, because it is the nature of causing unwanted faults. If it is said that wherever there is fire, there is also soft touch, etc., why does fire only perceive warm touch and not others? It is said that whatever is pervaded by something, it perceives that. If warm touch or something else also pervades fire, it also only perceives that. Logic is only non-contradictory because it does not establish the meaning. If it is not established, then this dispute is non-existent because it is not understood due to its nature of refutation. Others and contradictions may become dissimilar sides, but how can non-existence be? If non-existence is the dissimilar side, then what is said: 'Because there are two aspects of existence and non-existence in each dissimilar side.' is unreasonable, because the qualities of a non-existent thing may become existent in non-existence, but how about something that has become existent? It is said: 'Therefore, there is only no similar side.' The word 'only' should be viewed immediately after the word 'therefore'. 'Therefore' also leads to the establishment of other and contradictory dissimilar sides immediately after it. Why? Because other and contradictory dissimilar sides are dissimilar sides, therefore, only the absence of a similar side is considered a dissimilar side. Compared to that, it is also said that the qualities of a side are existence and non-existence because of the nature of non-existence, so this doubt should not be made. Why? Because only non-existence is not a dissimilar side. Then what is it? It is said that others and contradictions are also. Again, how do the three obtain the nature of dissimilar sides? Why? Because what is not a similar side is a dissimilar side, the opposite of a similar side is the nature of a dissimilar side, and the negation of non-existence is the same for those dissimilar sides, which is the understanding of the opposite.
