It is the perceived contradiction of that which pervades. To show that the uncertain reason is also not unestablished, it is said, "extremely fast," and so on. Those who think that they are destroyed extremely quickly are like that. Moreover, lamps, etc., which are thought to be destroyed extremely quickly, are also actions after the time of birth, because they remain for six moments, so they are not momentary. How is it? Therefore, it is said, "like this," and so on. Like this, for the time being, the time related to one's own cause is the first. Then there is the time of general manifestation. Then there is the time of the work of the limbs. Immediately after that is the time of separation of the limbs. Then there is the destruction of the limbs between self-creation. Then there is the destruction of things, such as lamps, etc., which are also thought to remain for six moments. Therefore, there is nothing that goes with things for a moment, so all those who have actions are actions that arise after the time of birth. The reason is also not unestablished, because others cannot become momentary. If you think again, if we also think that things are momentary, even so, why don't these actions become apparent at the time of birth? Therefore, it is said, "back and front," and so on. Whoever leaves the back object and enters the front object, and the one who meets, is the goer, or the support of extending backwards, etc., otherwise it is not, like the sky, etc. Whoever completely abandons the previous object, has a head start and can overcome the object behind, appears only in an instant, and there is no such thing as staying like this for a while. Even when it exists, it is controlled by destruction, so it cannot go to another place. Therefore, the work that appears at the time of birth is also unreasonable. It is also not the edge of the past and the future, because there is nothing to say at that time. Therefore, whoever does not even have a moment, let alone be able to go to a very distant place. However, there is not even a direction to go to a place the size of a dust particle.

Therefore, to show that there is no action in an instant and no action in a non-instant, (the text says) "If things depend on..." etc. A constant, single-natured thing is called a non-instant. It is very clear that it is incompatible with action, because it is like space, without distinction everywhere. The argument is: Whatever is without distinction everywhere, action is not possible for it, like space. If it is thought that a non-instant thing is without distinction everywhere, then this becomes an absurd inference that pervasive things and contradictory things exist simultaneously. If someone thinks that even if a non-instant thing has no distinction, it still has action because its nature is that of a goer, etc., then this reason is uncertain. To dispel this doubt, (the text) says "If..." etc. If it is thought that these, such as Devadatta, who are considered to be eternal, have the nature of going and lifting, etc., then they will never stop, because they have the nature of a goer, etc., everywhere. If so, even if Devadatta, etc., have going, etc., in their motionless state, even if there is no going, etc., they will still obtain going, etc., because they have not abandoned their nature at the time of starting to go, etc. If, fearing this fault, it is admitted that it is not the nature of a goer, etc., then at all times it will become a non-goer, etc., because it has a single nature, like space. The word "etc." includes lifting, etc. If so, even if there is going, etc., it will only be motionless, because it has not abandoned the nature of a non-goer, like the motionless state. "Having the action of moving, therefore it is moving." "Like the state of non-moving nature." "Like..." is the ending of the seventh case. If it is not a single nature? Then what is it? Since it has the nature of a goer, etc., and a non-goer, etc., therefore, in any case,
