Therefore, manifest cognition itself is not established on this. This is also not subsequent inference, because the object already apprehended by the previous manifest cognition, and because there is no sign as a basis. Therefore, there is not even a little bit of something that can subdue on this. If you think, if the white color of clothes, etc., has not disappeared, then it will also appear in situations such as washing. Again, it is said that water, etc., just as iron, etc., produce the nature of burning, etc., from contact with fire, and just as they produce the nature of blue, etc., other colors such as white arise, so there is no contradiction. If you think, only other colors arise, because the previous nature is subdued, so the previous one does not appear, and later there is no subduing, so it will not appear, then how should this be understood? It is said that color is in that state itself, etc. The argument is that whatever has not completely abandoned the nature of not being subdued, then it is not subdued by others, just like the previous situation. The color of the subdued state has also not completely abandoned the nature of not being subdued, this is the appearance of pervasive contradiction. If you admit that you have also completely abandoned the nature of not being subdued, then this is established as other. Color, etc., on lotus, etc. Speaking of different words and the sixth, etc. If the sixth, etc., are used as they are in reality, then at that time, things can be established from actions. If these arise merely from arbitrary wishes, and do not depend on the differences, etc., of things belonging to external objects, then how can these accomplish things? Among them, the different word is color, etc. The sixth is of cloth. Speaking of 'etc.', it includes the seventh, such as color, etc., on the cloth, and the thing of the cloth is the cloth itself, that is beneficial to it, etc. Like this, others, etc., are not definite.

Therefore, it is to be proven. Like this, the "existence itself" of the six meanings of words and those six meanings, even if there is no difference in things in names such as "collection," it is only becoming the sixth, etc. You do not admit the "existence itself" other than the six meanings of words. This is just an approximate example. Similarly, even if there are many words like "the consorts, the sands," no difference in meaning is seen. For the phrase "the nature of space is space itself," it is not considered to have another nature. Using "as the knower of existence," etc., to dispel the doubts of others' acceptance, because the object of the measure ( प्रमाण ,pramāṇa, measure) as the knower of existence is the true nature of things, that is, the object of the measure of the agent aiming at existence itself, which means that you think the six have other dharmas. Therefore, I think there is no mistake. Here, the answer is: For you, other than six, the meaning of the word is excessive for you, which means it will become the seventh meaning of the word. If that is the case, then the commitment to the six meanings of the word will collapse, I thought so. If it is said that there is no fault because it is desired, then, if that is the case, how can it be said that the word has six meanings? Therefore, it is said: That is to express the six as having dharma. It means that whatever is the nature of having dharma, it is said to be the six meanings of the word, and the nature of dharma is only wanting something other than the six meanings of the word. As it is said in the treatise entering the meaning of the word: In this way, the having dharma other than the dharma has been shown. Answer with "it and it are related," etc. This "it" refers to the six meanings of the word. That "it" refers to the dharma of "existence itself," etc. With what relationship can this dharma become theirs? If there is no relationship, then the things of dharma and having dharma are unreasonable, because it will become very excessive. If that is the case, then everything will become the dharma of everything. There is no relationship with them, because there are only two kinds of relationship: the characteristic of having and the characteristic of gathering. First is the characteristic of having.
