It enters in the form of... like calling a white cow "short-tailed cow." Similarly, even if there is no different thought about calling a speckled cow, etc., "cow, cow," they are different because of their own uniqueness. Therefore, regarding understanding things as different and mixed states, when the act of understanding is eliminated, as long as this act related to other things is not eliminated, it should still not be included in the perception of two moons, etc., like the perception of silver, etc. Although the perception of silver is free from the act of understanding a shell, the difference between a shell and a non-shell does not lie in the existence of an act. Therefore, this nature of not understanding the essence of things and making false assumptions about them is a complete illusion. But the perception of blue, etc., is not like that, because the entry of distinction has been established, which is consistent with the perception here. Similarly, even if the nature of indivisible things is a self without difference, because of its uniqueness, and the uniqueness of it with many things, it is reasonable to generate many different illusions, because it has the nature of dispelling assumptions, and these illusions themselves are also numerous. Correct cognition does not make indivisible things appear in multiple forms, but inverted cognition does. Therefore, by eliminating illusions, things with different meanings become one, becoming non-different. Different illusions can only be dispelled by different cognitions. Therefore, even if things are not different, do different cognitions with unique results, because they have the meaning of distinction, contradict each other in entering, even if they are not inverted? If it is not inverted, then what is it? For example, just as confirming the thing itself, cognition is also like that, and distinction also dispels the thing itself, rather than being wrong like the perception of silver, etc. Similarly, for the different forms of one's own characteristics, different illusions are special, which completely depends on the difference of the occasion. Moreover, if these differences become non-different, then change will occur.

Therefore, for variegated things with different self-natures, each individually connected with the imputation of being non-cows, it is possible for a single cognition of a cow to arise in order to eliminate those imputations. For those things, correct knowledge does not change their single self-nature, but it is erroneous, and the discriminating consciousness that has the fruit of eliminating that is not. Therefore, if it is absent, then the discrimination itself, which is similar to cognition, is the agent of conceptualizing objects. If different imputations are on different things, then discrimination on different things will also become different; for the nature of an inexpressible self-nature, what self-nature is dissimilar? If, for non-different things, there are no qualities such as impermanence and being made, then how can it be distinguished from being permanent or unmade? You have not understood correctly; even if they are not different, being made, etc., will not become different, but they will also not become non-existent, it should be said. Therefore, how can something without a self-nature different from it not be distinguished? If it is said that the knowledge of the negative meaning that relies on what is to be discriminated as "this is not blue" is itself the discriminator, then "it is blue" is not, therefore, even if discrimination is an act of knowledge other than establishing, the knowledge that does not understand the negative meaning is not an object of discrimination, if it is said, this is always acknowledged, like this: The negative meaning is not the establishing meaning, it does not make a distinction after stopping, because the distinction relies on that, on this, this is not blue, through relying on the negative meaning of non-blue, as the basis of discrimination, thereby recognizing that "this is blue" is not able to stop, because the negative meaning is merely the absence of what is to be negated. Therefore, by saying "this is not non-blue," merely recognizing that there is no non-blue, one cannot conversely recognize "this is..." and understand that it is related to it. What can make it special? How can it not? Because it is not establishing.
