Saying "it is meaningless" is not an effort that is nothing. This of Namphuk (Tibetan: རྣམ་ཕུག་, Roman: rnam phug) also falls into kicking the feet, from occasions and similarities and other similarities, occasion thinking and discernment will be discussed later. The reason discernment that possesses that characteristic will become similar to the occasion. If it is the same as the occasion's to-be-proven, then it is the same in being and non-being. For example, omniscience is non-existent, because it is liberated from other refutations, like form. Because both reasons are also the same, if any being and non-being have no difference, then how can omniscience be liberated from the non-existent other? Like a donkey's horn, this, although it has become the dharma of both, is also uncertain, because it does not enter the dissimilar side. Moreover, the Pramāṇaviniścaya (Tibetan: ཚད་མ་རྣམ་པར་ངེས་, Roman: tshad ma rnam par nges) has already been blocked by the scholar himself, here you must know what the dissimilar side is. If it is said that there is nothing to be proven, then how can this become an unreasonable side? The explanation of the word meaning should also be said here, the difference of this fault has already been explained in detail. Here, reasoning such as being similar to the occasion and being outdated is not correct. That which is accompanied by error is also a fallacious reason. If that is the case, how did you promise, because you doubt returning from the dissimilar side, so it is not uniquely certain to understand, because you promised to return merely because you did not see it. Therefore, you should combine without doubt, the eyes and ears are grasping after contact, because they are external roots, like the nose, and that which is accompanied by conceptualization is direct perception, because it is a valid cognition, like inference, etc., because here merely not seeing the return is not established. Furthermore, I and the earth have consciousness, etc., Strenuously proving non-existence is not non-existence, Some refutation of reasons also, Isn't it proving no reason? Saying this, etc., for the similar side and the dissimilar side, doubting being and non-being, also wants to be the reason for correct knowledge.

English

For example, saying "a living body has a self because it has life" is like an uncertain situation. The statement distinguishing the contradiction opposed by Dvaradvaja contradicts the commitment, which is obvious. Saying that something else is established because it is close to what is to be proven, such as saying "atoms are permanent because they have function, like a pot," is the same as what is to be proven. Because atoms have function and have body, action, and shape, it is unreasonable to say that they are impermanent, because the subject of the thesis is not established. Atoms are not characterized, because it would lead to an unestablished reason, so all reasons would also lead to being unestablished. Merely being pervasive, it is also the nature of the property of the subject, and that is how it is established. Accepting what is to be proven as the property of the subject of the thesis, because it is not the only thing to be proven. That subject of the thesis to be proven, if there is no establisher for the subject of the thesis, it will not change. If the establisher does not have what is to be proven, then that kind of reason that the subject of the thesis has will not become a property of the subject. When it is not like that, it is also promised to be established, and when it is shown as the property of the subject of the thesis, then it is not a reason. Therefore, what is wanted to be said is the property of the subject distinguished by existence. If it is not like that, it will become unestablished, the same as what is to be proven, so this is said here. If, for a subject of the thesis that does not have what is to be proven, that kind of reason is merely establishing what is to be proven of the property of the subject, then, does such a property of the subject clarify the inference without understanding, or is it determined in another way? When it clarifies without understanding, it is far beyond the reason that makes it understood. The reason that makes it understood is to clarify the meaning of what is to be known by relying on one's own knowledge. If it is understood clearly merely because there is a reason, then the debater and the refuter will make various different arguments.
