In order to show the similarity, the other party also said "etc." External object proponents have never seen actions and speech that are preceded by the movement of another's mind. Therefore, they cannot understand the minds of others. This accusation is very unpleasant to the ear. Although one should not seek a famous connection for what is to be proven, the other party will be ashamed simply because the fault is the same, so other faults are not mentioned. Here, in order to meet the doubt that external object proponents think there is a way to infer the minds of others, it is said, "If one's own mind exists in others," etc. Because one's own mind stream has other actions and speech that cannot be the cause, therefore, inferring the minds of others is the doubt of the former. The founder of the established tenet said, "How is it impossible," etc.

If actions and speech also become dependent on one's own mind, then their merits will also appear in oneself. So, how do these appear? Just as it is said, "It is not so," etc., it will appear as "This goes, this speaks," in such a way that they are distinctly separated on the object. If it is not the cause of one's own mind, then it indirectly means that another mind is established, which is the doubt of the former. The proponent said, "Also to others," etc. For those who say that what is knowable is internal, in one's own continuum, for the knowledge of actions and speech appearing, which are distinctly separated on the object, there is no real experience of each mind that can completely cause them. In order to show that the conclusion of the reasoning is also similar, it is said, "The knowledge appearing as an agent is also the cause of the movement of one's own mind," etc. The knowledge of actions and words appearing, whatever is the cause of the movement of one's own mind, those are also the appearance of looking inward, that is, realizing that "I go, I speak" is the appearance of an agent related to oneself. What exists in the continuum of others is realized as the appearance of looking outward, that is, "This goes, this speaks." Therefore, it is established that the cause arises in others. The movement of one's own mind is the movement of one's own mind, and the sentence "Where does the cause exist?" is connected separately. Because the externalists doubt that the cause of the knowledge of looking outward is the movement itself, it is said, "The appearance of looking outward has no cause," etc. Why not admit that the knowledge of the appearance of looking outward has no cause? The ultimate meaning is that they are not the cause of movement. The meaning of looking outward refers to the distinct separation of the object. Those who have the way of appearing to look outward are the appearances of looking outward. Because these have no cause, they are without cause, although only the cause is negated, but according to the situation, it should be regarded as negating the movement itself. The conclusion of the established

Therefore, it is said, "If it is said that there is no reason," and so on. If the knowledge of the form of action and speech, those that appear to be interrupted, could also exist without moving, then, at that time, those looking inward would also not become the reason for moving. Like this, if something unmoving transforms into the form of action and speech, then because there is no difference, all knowledge of the form of action and speech would also arise without moving, if one thinks like this. To this, it is thought that only the difference caused by interruption and non-interruption exists. Therefore, those that appear to be interrupted are without reason, and the other will become with reason, if one thinks like this. Therefore, it is said, "Appearing as interrupted and non-interrupted," and so on. Appearing as interrupted is appearing as interrupted. What is the difference it makes, the special characteristic? Those that appear to be looking outward will not become the reason for moving, while others will become the characteristic of moving, knowledge does not make the reason for moving different. Distinguishing here is separating and establishing or preventing. If there is no different reason, what fault is there? Therefore, it is said, "Non-interruption," and so on. To this, by what will knowledge become different? There is no difference in the appearance of action and speech itself. Therefore, because there is no difference, either neither will become the reason for moving, or both will have the reason for moving. Thus, in order to prove that the two kinds of knowledge are the same and to conclude, therefore, it is said, "The difference of appearance, the difference of non-interruption," and so on. Because the two kinds of knowledge are the same in this way, therefore, the appearance of action and speech, whatever is the difference of non-interruption, is merely the reason for moving, that is not it. Then, how is it? For what appears to be interrupted, only the appearance as the difference of action is the reason for moving. To this, connect the words as "Because there is the difference of interruption."
