The benefit and harm done by knowing the ground are not only clear but also made manifest. If the nature of experience is reversed, then because of the lack of clarity, unpleasant and non-unpleasant experiences will not turn into the evil and harm of a clear nature. Therefore, by manifestly knowing pleasure and pain, it will turn into the benefit and harm that depend on them. Moreover, yogis and others do not turn to pleasure because of the pleasure of others, and that should also be mentioned, because it is the basis of self-grasping. The aspect of the experiencer, the nature of pleasantness, is the nature of the benefit of the purusha, not the aspect of the object of experience, because it appears as a nature transformed from outside the basis of self-grasping. Therefore, yogis and others turn to pleasure and pain through the pleasure and pain of the aspect of the object of experience. Pleasure is only the nature of benefit, and the nature of benefit is also the nature of tranquility that turns into the aspect of holding. Therefore, the pleasure of the purusha is only that, not the aspect of what is taken. Our pleasure is only this, which is what is experienced. Therefore, pleasure and so on are only purusha, and only the aspect of what is taken is manifestly known, not benefit and harm, but it should be seen as the clear nature of the aspect of holding. To accumulate the meaning of other faults, these are spoken, saying that these minds are not the cause of manifest knowledge. If it is not certain, then for what is based on self-nature, it will also be understood, that is, known. It is related to these. How is it impossible? Because there is no other means of establishing it in the way that will be explained, knowledge is not manifestly known. For what is based on self-nature, it will not turn to knowing. Even if one does not understand that knowledge depends on self-nature, one will also desire only to know the meaning, but I know this meaning, and thus in self-nature, it will not turn to knowing as an experiencer. Ultimately, if one knows the knower, saying that this knower knows this meaning, then when the knower knows, it will turn to knowing the meaning.

If the knower does not know, then it is impossible to know the meaning, because if the knower himself is not certain, then things cannot be certain either. When the thing that serves as the basis is known, the wisdom with an object arises as inference, and through inference, the realized one can comprehend wisdom. Therefore, although from the ultimate meaning, comprehension is no different from inference, from the nature of valid cognition and its result, they are regarded as different. Then, how is knowing the meaning the basis for inferring wisdom? Because if the meaning is not known, wisdom will not be certain, therefore, the establishment of wisdom comes from the reason of knowing the meaning. This shows the relationship of "non-arising without it," and the order of knowing the meaning and the establishment of wisdom. The certainty of wisdom is neither prior, nor simultaneous, nor later, and it is impossible to say with certainty, "This is it." However, when one roughly sees things and clearly explains the object, one will be convinced that wisdom exists, because knowing the meaning is the cause of wisdom. This is the meaning that is admitted. Others doubt and say: A foolish person cannot even understand what he himself says. The so-called "victor" is the one who has obtained victory. By doing what does one win? Declaring in front of the world, "I have won, I have won," this is proclaiming the sound of victory, making it clear. If he declares it so clearly, then how does he gain victory from the world of discriminating consciousness? It is explained: Because the words he speaks that contradict the Dharma are still worthy of being listened to by the world. If there were some wise people, then such words would be refuted, and no one would listen to such words, but precisely because they are not refuted, he proclaims victory, thereby conquering the world. What contradictory words did he say? It is explained: Knowing the meaning is the reason for establishing wisdom, and when the basis is fully known, because there is no realization, it will not become the wisdom with an object. His thought is: The so-called knowing, wisdom, realization, etc.,
