Because at the very moment of realization, it is already realized that things are untrue, so direct perception fully encompasses non-valid cognition. Those arise from clarity, and to show that it also cannot be indicated, it is said to be 'un-indicatable,' meaning what are the characteristics of what cannot be indicated. Because inference is abandoned, there is no property of that which is pervaded and that which pervades, therefore, one cannot indicate the nature of being pervaded by non-deception and what the other is. How does one indicate it? If it is considered that slightly indicating the clarity of experiencing the object is the reason, even so, those indications are not needed at all, so it is said, 'in one's own continuum,' and so on. Those also do not have the power to make others use terms, because they cannot make others understand the terms accordingly. Because those are not to be represented, because others do not know it as the means of entry. Why is it not to be represented? Because what exists in the indicator's own continuum is not to be known, therefore, it cannot be represented as the means of entry for others. What is to be indicated is the limb of entry, therefore, those that are not limbs of entry are not to be indicated, and that is the very fruit of valid cognition. Therefore, for others, it is not appropriate to compose treatises that indicate the limbs of entry for others, that is, valid and non-valid cognition. If one does, that is, if one composes treatises that indicate valid and non-valid cognition, then one is mocking one's own entry that indicates valid cognition and the other, what is one mocking? Like this, the necessity of indication is that among what is indicated, one is direct perception and the other is not, if others realize this, then, having said that inference is not valid cognition, in order to make inference not valid cognition, in order to make others realize that direct perception is valid cognition and inference is not, then what is said is itself refuted by oneself. Because

Because it is said after understanding through inference, if that is not valid cognition, then it will also be said to not exist. Therefore, saying that inference is not valid cognition becomes saying that what I said is not correct. If that is the case, one's own actions will also be questioned. Therefore, like that, after first stating the thesis with valid cognition and another, etc., it is explained in order to establish the second thesis. Others who are wise understand, which is understanding the meaning of the current treatise. That meaning is, for that purpose or to accomplish that, the treatise is composed, that is, established, how is inference abandoned? How is it unreasonable? It is said, if inference is abandoned, then engaging in composing a treatise is fruitless. Because inference is abandoned, it will also be said that the minds of others determined by it do not exist. Even if one doubts that the minds of others do not exist, but because one doubts whether others understand the meaning of the treatise, it is also unreasonable to engage in composing a treatise. Just like the cognition of mirages, because the meaning determined by inference is determined to be meaningless, it is not doubting whether it will become meaningless, but doubting whether it has meaning, because it is not like that, therefore it is unreasonable to engage in fruitless treatise composition by denying inference. If one does not abandon it, even if it has been determined that there is no inference, it is because of doubting that it has meaning that one engages, just like plowing a field. Therefore, the inference of composing a treatise should not be abandoned. If someone thinks, the mind is not different from the body, and when seeing, it is also held by the direct perception that holds the body itself, therefore what is the use of inference for this? It is said, the body itself is not the mind, although the body has been established and determined by direct perception, but the discrimination of the mind, that is, the mind distinguishes itself from other minds in the form of desire, etc., and is a special feature, so the discrimination of the mind is the special feature of the mind, because there is doubt about this. What is to be known by direct perception is a special feature, general
