Now, what needs to be done is, therefore, you yourself acknowledge that other valid cognitions exist. Like this, without subsequent inference, it cannot be expressed with negative terms, this has already been said. Knowing that, and so on, explains the first reason for the existence of other valid cognitions. The beautiful one over there is direct perception, which is non-deceptive, but not subsequent inference, this shows the state of the indicator. This shows that, for the beautiful one over there, in a general way, in a special way of indicating, it establishes the existence of a valid cognition and another. Now, like this, from the indicator, in any case, subsequent inference must be acknowledged, when indicating like that, the indicator will explain the cause and necessity of the indication. Some clarity of knowledge that relies on the senses is non-deceptive, able to obtain meaningful things, and some clarity of knowledge known through the mind is considered deceptive, saying after knowing, this shows the reason for knowing the definition of valid cognition. If one does not fully know deception and non-deception, one cannot know its definition. If one knows deception and non-deception, one knows what the definition is. If one does not fully know, it is not a definition, therefore, knowledge is included in the definition, therefore, it is not expressed in its own words. The universality of its definition is to completely include all clarity, because that is the cause. Like this, after temporarily knowing what the definition of deception and non-deception is in the clarity of some knowledge, for all the knowledge that has that definition, which exists in one's own and others' continuums, the non-deceptive that is able to obtain, and for the other, knowing the opposite of that, therefore, it will be said that it indicates all objects. This explains the cause of the indication. If someone thinks, how does the knowledge of the object that is experienced itself indicate? The answer is, how does it indicate? When the student does not go beyond the indication and enters, there will be no confusion, because there is the purpose and necessity of non-deception, that is how it is. This shows the necessity of what is said. Like this, what is the indicator, that is the indication

If one wants to explain what can accomplish meaning and pursue meaning without deceiving other beings, it is because the valid cognition or non-valid cognition that exists in the teacher's own continuum cannot convince others. When they are convinced, what is the use of merely explaining the valid cognition or non-valid cognition that exists in one's own continuum for the purpose of obtaining and abandoning deception and non-deception? Therefore, it should be explained that the valid cognition or non-valid cognition that exists in both one's own and others' continua is the correct explanation. The term "as it is" means that the content to be explained should be accomplished in such a way, which is certainty. Because what has been accomplished can approach the cognitive field of the individual and show it with certainty, certainty itself is called accomplishment. Uncertainty cannot be shown, so one should understand how to show it as it is. Then, how should it be understood? Through seeing similar things. The term "that" refers to valid cognition or non-valid cognition. Because in some appearances, it can be determined that the nature of non-deception is pervasive. Therefore, what is pervaded can also pervade all possible appearances. In some cases, after determining what is pervaded and what pervades, the existence of what is pervaded with certainty does not exceed the scope of what can be inferred. And what can be inferred is also the object of inference. Because inference itself has not been established as valid cognition, if a non-valid cognition is taken as the object, then it is not real, and what is the use of explaining it? The cognitive object of a mirage is not suitable for being explained as it is. Here it is explained that the inference of one's own meaning, which arises from the power of the thing itself, exists. Here, what is the nature pervaded by non-deception? To this, the Lokayata (Carvaka) believes that it is the nature of grasping the object, while we believe that it is the nature that does not arise without meaning. According to our view, merely not arising without meaning is the reason for being able to obtain meaning. According to others, merely grasping the object is the reason. Therefore, according to what we believe, not arising without meaning
