If so, the pervasion is not established, because it is the nature that is certain in all places and times. If the pervasion is established like the arbitrary crow and palm tree, although it can be established like the crow and palm tree, if these sign and sign-possessor are not related, then in the arbitrary place and time, and in any substance, the difference reversal will not be established, because it is not dependent, just like a horse and an ox. If because the speaker's language, the dharma of the subject, etc., are valid, therefore it does not exist. If the reversal is understood by saying it, then because what is to be established itself is understood by saying it, there is no need for a reason, and it will become too extreme. The so-called wanting reversal is that for all that the dissimilar side has not manifested, also because there is nothing to be established, it is impossible to have a reason, this is wanting pervasion. Wisdom itself is considered to be the connection itself, otherwise if it does not depend on the reason, then what is to be established will not be determined as reversal, just like an ox that does not depend on a horse. The so-called through words, if the reversal cannot be determined by merely seeing, then it cannot be determined by the words that say it, this is the summary, because words also merely say what has not been seen. The so-called having spoken a little, refers to those that have just passed. The so-called other than what has been eaten, what has been eaten is the similar side, and other is the dissimilar side. At that time, the reason called born from one, or the reason called no difference in form, these reasons have not seen the dissimilar side, because all that has a reason other than what has been eaten has been made into the subject. Some say that this refers to the teacher Ishvarasena. The so-called there is no place to make the subject, because it is not directly perceived. If it is worried that the present directly perceived also enters the subject directly perceived and causes harm, then the so-called for others there is also other, refers to those other than those with remainder. Why? Because if the connection is not admitted, then it cannot be determined that the directly perceived does not cause harm. Furthermore, if the valid enters and causes harm, if the valid does not enter and also causes harm, then all reasons cannot be trusted, because the valid entering and causing harm is no different. Therefore, reversal.

The so-called "only establishment" means only certainty. The so-called "establishment" means to make understood. The so-called "suchness of essence" means only establishment can establish. The so-called "certainty" means dependence. The so-called "observation" means that only through association can the elimination be determined, that is the meaning. If according to your view, what kind of error is it that has remainder? It has been said "from the door of non-observation" etc. The so-called "in any case" means another establisher. The sound of "vase etc." refers to corpses etc. Seeing is direct perception. Not seeing is not that. Because they pervade selflessness, because there is no life etc. Because the life etc. that pervades the living body does not exist, it is eliminated. Because the pervaded selflessness is also eliminated, it will become the fault of recognizing as having self. If according to your view, life etc. are without elimination, then it is not feasible like self, because of non-observation, if it is not established as non-existence on vases etc., then because vases etc. are not established as selfless, there is no life etc. on it, and it is also non-existent because of selflessness, this is not established, so in all eliminations of self, life etc. are eliminated, that is, the elimination of self pervades the elimination of life etc., so there is no elimination. Thus, if the pervader is not established, then the elimination of the pervaded is also not established, so it is not a recognizer of self. Now how is self established? Because it is also admitted that enlightenment is attained without self. If it is admitted that it is not a valid cognition, then the selflessness admitted by others who have attained enlightenment is not a valid cognition. If the selflessness on the living body is admitted, because it is inconsistent with us, it is not a valid cognition. If only the distinction between having self and selflessness is admitted, that is, consistently admitted, because it is admitted that the vase itself is selfless, inconsistently admitted, so the living body is with self. The unestablished pervading is said to be existent, non-existent, and both on the object of inference. Similarly, it should also be appropriately stated that there is existence etc. on the similar class, that is, there is existence and non- existence and both etc. on the similar class.

Nga. It is called both existence and non-existence in the opposite direction. That should not be said, if only the opposite is not observed, then doubt itself is the opposite. If the argument is observed in the opposite direction, then that doubt will disappear, but if it is not observed, then it will remain in doubt. Because doubt itself is desired, so combining the unestablished, there is no need to say that it does not exist in the opposite direction. If it is said like this that it is opposite because it is not observed, then there is no contradiction between merely seeing and existing, so the doubt that arises from existing in the opposite direction will also not be prevented. Whatever is said is determined on both, that is, saying that it does not exist in the opposite direction is only determined on both the debater and the refuter, because that is exactly what is said. Etc. includes establishing and refuting. Why is it said appropriately? That is because in the opposite example, the fault of the unestablished basis may also exist. Because it is said that the opposite is certain, it is thought that even if it is not observed, doubt will not be the opposite, that is, it has been definitely explained that those doubts are irrefutable. Furthermore, just because it is not seen, it is the opposite, so it is also said to do equality etc. If it is indeed the opposite, why would they become cutting arguments? The answer is that cutting is not other than being opposite from them, that is, being opposite from them is cutting them, it is not another meaning, because if it is only determined on what one wants to establish, then it is opposite from non-existence, and if it itself exists, then it will not be confused about what is to be established, so it will not be confused about cutting off what has nothing to be established. If what should be heard itself, why is it not cutting off both permanent and impermanent? The answer is that it is not cutting off, because just not seeing it, it cannot be determined to be opposite from either permanent or impermanent. If it is not uncertainly opposite, but because other valid cognitions hinder cutting off both. What is the valid cognition? Having the nature of mutually cutting off, one being cut off, the other is established.
