The speaker explains it as the result of the meaning of words. If there is no confusion about the meaning to be expressed, then it will have the meaning to be understood. How does it become the result of the meaning of words? If it is combined with the view that does not arise without meaning, it is the same. Therefore, the speaker, by the power of expressing words, can show that the meaning of words does not arise without meaning, and he himself can see the meaning as it is. If one is not a person who sees the truth, and wants to show others an untrue meaning, then it will not become an expression of words, because one does not want the necessity of words to be the nature of understanding meaning. Therefore, here, saying "if oneself is not valid cognition," it should be understood that the word is not valid cognition, because the word is valid cognition because it has the reason that oneself is valid cognition, and if oneself is not valid cognition, then the word is also not valid cognition. Similarly, not relying on treatises, that is, in the case of having been accepted as valid cognition, one should not analyze the dharma that is famous for it, which is similar to expressing it together for the meaning to be understood. Why do you want to understand the similarity in order to express what? Because the treatise harms the dharma in a specific situation, that is, the basis of analysis, in the analysis, the dharma depends on the treatise, the treatise is both the basis and harms the dependent thing, but not other situations. It is intended to show that this meaning is the same as the meaning to be expressed, because the word is also the basis of expression, so it will cause harm. Because these two harms are shown to be the same as the basis in a specific situation, it is said that there is no difference, and for this reason, combining self-contradiction and scriptural contradiction into one, for this example, it is also shown to be the same and without difference. The so-called "valid cognition of measurable meaning does not exist" means that measurable meaning, that is, valid cognition with meaning, does not exist. What is negated is their meaning of understanding, not just negating their own nature, because that is experienced. How is this example the same in both of these? Valid cognitions, etc.

If not, it is said. To say that there is no valid cognition is to say that the expression of words is not related to meaning. If the meaning to be expressed does not exist, then the word itself becomes valid cognition. If it is shown that the word is separate from the meaning to be expressed, then that expression becomes fruitless. Similarly, if the treatise has no meaning, then it will not arise, which is also what is desired. Therefore, since these two are not allowed, these seem to harm the meaning that has been promised. If the subject of the thesis is not established by valid cognition and scripture, then how does the treatise cause harm here? It is said in reply: This is a clear example of contradicting one's own words, because the valid cognition that arises from the force of the expression of words harms non-valid cognition. For scripture, this is only one aspect of an opposing example. Here, the valid cognition of the words that must be promised not to be eaten by demons contradicts the meaning of the promise. Therefore, in this way, wherever it is promised that the treatise is valid cognition and is not eaten by demons, it should be understood as an example of a treatise. What is said is that this should be excluded from contradicting the scripture, because as valid cognition, it must be promised that the treatise is absolutely not eaten by demons. The meaning of what is called "transfer" is that even after a long time, because it is another world, giving a cow there is not giving a cow, and this is the harm caused by the treatise here. How is this so? The subject of the thesis, etc., has been mentioned. If the treatise is harmed, then giving happiness itself, and non-happiness itself, there is no intervention in analyzing the difference in characteristics, because the basis on which it depends does not exist, i.e., it is contradictory. If there is a universal, then the difference will be thought of, and if the universal itself is contradictory, then in what field is there no difference in thought? Just as it is impossible to think about rabbit horns, etc. If it is allowed to harm the treatise, even so, how does it become without a basis? Because it relies on establishing the dharma as existence itself, i.e., it relies on this. The nature of the universal dharma is the establishment of the treatise, therefore, when harming the treatise, because there is no dharma, the difference is thought of
