It is called "without merit." The so-called "even so" is without a sign that makes the wish understood. If you think, "How is there no sign of the fruit?" It is said, "What is to be established." If you think, "Then will it become sound?" Capacity should be taken. If you think, "What if a similar one harms?" If you think it is a fault of the proposition and the reason, it is said, "If there is no, then there is no arising." If you think that manifestness is only valid by relying on scripture, then "whatever little" means only not relying on scripture. The so-called "if" is to welcome doubts. If you ask, "From where?" The answer is "From scripture." If you do not rely on scripture, then scripture will not harm at that time. If manifestness is harmed by scripture and becomes confused, if you ask, "Why does manifestness harming scripture not become confused?" The answer is "God is." The so-called "other" is seeing without dimness. If where is the divine eye, that is, the author of all the words of scripture, if it is established that it is, then the words that "we" and other manifestnesses have made and that harm scripture, if they become reasonable, then that is not established either, because it speaks of contradictory meanings. If you think that some of these will become possessed of divine eyes, the so-called "some of these" are those possessed of divine eyes, or some scripture made by them. The so-called "that" is a person or scripture. The so-called "thus" is a divine eye or something made by it. Thus, we are not clearly certain. If you think that all those who make scripture are important, the so-called "words are mutual." The so-called "other is omniscient." You are not worse than others, but you are better than them, that is the meaning. Therefore, it is thought that inference is applicable without contradicting their words. The answer is, "If that is the case." Because there is no reason for all those who make scripture not to be better than you, it is not appropriate to be biased towards one scripture. Then, how should one abandon what contradicts one's own treatise, and also abandon what contradicts others' treatises? That is also impossible. Therefore.

"That" is said because it is impossible to abandon what contradicts all the scriptures. "Not arising" is said because if one applies generalities and other recollections, the Buddha's scriptures will be harmed. Even if one applies recollections without generalities, it will harm other scriptures. Therefore, recollection is simply impossible in other schools of thought. "Recollection is not valid cognition" is said because the sign is contradicted by being harmed by the treatises. Stating that itself means "treatises." "Later" is said because the object to be proven will not fail to be established through contradicting the scriptures. "That" refers to the scriptures that contradict what is established by recollection. "For what is promised" refers to being contradictory to the treatises in relation to the promised treatises. "Otherwise" refers to not being so in relation to the treatises that are not promised. "For all" is because there is no definite reason. Welcoming other doubts is "permanently intolerable." It means that the reason for accepting the definitive treatises is permanence itself. "Is valid cognition" is because it is the nature of recollection. That very examination is also through that promise. Thinking here is like this: If it is said that only what is worthy of examination is promised, then the promise will not become a promise that the promise harms the examination. According to your view, the promise also harms the examination, because for the recollection that sound is impermanent, it is promised that the treatises that show the qualities of space will harm it. That time is the time of realization. That is the treatise. "That time" is the time when one does not rely on the treatise. "That time" is the time of debate. "Because there is no promise" is because the treatise is not promised. The means for promising is the method, which is the cause. This itself is analysis. At that time, that is, at the time of debate, even if that promise exists, existence is not a limb that harms the examination, that is, it is not a cause. "If one is completely satisfied with just that" means that those who desire liberation will become the third heap of aggregates by merely relying on the scope of perception and inference.
