Therefore. Therefore, there is no fault of not understanding the distinction of unrelated things. If it is thought that, through the definite grasp of stating together with characteristics, why can't things with others be distinguished? Answer: Because of the word "other". Mountains and other things are like this, if they are related to smoke and other things. Other things like walls are also like this, because they are not related to smoke and other things. Further stating the fault, that is "with characteristics" etc. The content of distinguishing by having others etc. is actually interrelated. If it says "if" etc. Other than that, it is bottles and other things. If it is thought that the situation will be like that, then the answer is: "The situation is like that". How to understand? The answer is: "Through direct perception". Outside of the subject to be proven, in the similar aspect, smoke is recognized through direct perception. For bottles, it is also recognized through inference that there is the fact of being made. If it is thought, from where does inference arise? The answer is: from the causes such as mud clumps, which have the nature of becoming different due to differences such as size. Its thing is that, that is, those things that have just been made etc. Because that is that sign. From direct perception, the bottle is recognized through direct perception. If it is said that even things that do not have, have others, and completely do not have, the ways of distinguishing through distinction are different, but only the speaker and the spoken, and the spoken does not have distinction etc. Then, how to understand the definition of the spoken and the speaker, or the relationship between the object and the subject? The answer is: through inference. From the worldly convention, the spoken is the thing of the speaker, or others, that is, the thing of the object and the subject is understood, this is the connection. From what kind of state is it understood? It is understood from the definition of inference. Worldly convention is recognition, that is, for the consciousness of distinction. That is also inference. Whatever and whatever is the object of distinction, that and that is the spoken and the speaker. For example, the meaning of the bottle residing in the distinction, and the form of the sound of the bottle etc.
