Furthermore, what is said is the word 'first' and so on. Initially, it is to be averted by ignorance, and later it is to be entered by non-ignorance. Therefore, how is the difference in understanding between the former and the latter? Saying that this is not seen at all, how can anyone who speaks of non-duality establish it? Therefore, this understanding becomes unrelated, but it is related. Again, if one thinks, how can one not see the difference? One should say, 'for a while.' The former and the latter are the past and the future. At that time, take it out from the heart and connect it with 'becoming the present.' Saying 'the second is the same' means it is like the present. If it is because of the past, even if it appears, how can it become the present? One should say, 'that.' 'However, not giving' means that for the direct perception of a yogi, what appears is what one wants to appear as the past, if it is not the past itself. At that time, how should one view the past and so on as the object of cognition? That is the state, the state of a yogi. Where? It is for those who speak of non-duality. Others show the appearance itself, that is, saying that dreams are true. In this very life. Saying that this is not an obstruction. Therefore, because it is said in this way, I say that I recognize the past, because it is said in this way. The state of the object is that they also think that it is only the present that is the object. Saying 'that' is because of not recognizing. Saying 'from that' is from the past and the future. If one does not recognize the difference, one does not recognize the differentiated. Thinking that the past and the future are also different differences. If one thinks, how can the world have the recognition of the past? One should say, 'the past.' It is said that memory itself can recognize the past. If one uses inference, the present will become different from the future, so one should observe. If one thinks, from what does inference itself arise? One should say that it arises from stability and so on. When one sees that things are stable, one knows that this will last for a long time. Saying 'etc.' is because one does not see the essence, so one thinks that this will not last for a long time.

will also be known. Similarly, from seeing the cause, one can also know the result, that is, the result will arise in the future. In this way, one can also know the difference, that is what is thought. In relation to the meaning that will arise, from the cause of knowledge, the meaning that will arise can be inferred. If there is also someone who knows this connection, then for the continuum and stability themselves, there is no direct perception of the meaning that will arise. If, according to the view of saying non-duality, is the so-called connection not non-existent? That is because it depends on two. So, if there is a connection, one can infer, why say that? (Answer:) It is said from the connection. This explains that it is only according to the promise of others that it is said in this way. The extreme case is that from a pot one can also infer a felt. To this, the statement of others is "not seen". If, this refers to the established sect. If it is said that it is seen by inference, then, when thinking about the inference itself, how can one say that it is seen by inference? If it is said that it is seen by direct perception, then it follows. This refers to inference. If inference has a hidden object, even so, how can it not be known by direct perception? (Answer:) It is also said for the hidden. How can the nature of having a hidden object possess inference, and how can it be a characteristic of direct perception? Also, how can one say that inference with a hidden object cannot be known by direct perception? (Answer:) It is said to be hidden. Because it is not an object, this refers to direct perception. The so-called specificity of the object refers to the specificity of the hidden object. Although inference with it as an object cannot be known by direct perception, only inference can be known, that is what is said. If inference cannot be known, then what will be experienced? (Answer:) It is said to be one's own nature. Like this, it refers to knowing one's own nature.
