Even so, it is only a conventional samsara. For example: relying on the four noble truths, and the notions of happiness, self, and mine, etc., the sixteen incorrect views, through fabrication, give rise to craving. Regarding the four noble truths themselves, the meaning contrary to these views, and the correct view that can truly understand each aspect of the four noble truths, can destroy craving and its followers. Therefore, to regard what does not exist as existing, that itself is samsara, but it is not its own essence. These sixteen incorrect views, through fabricating these views, and actions related to craving, lead to attachment to samsara. Otherwise, samsara does not exist. Attachment to the net of appearances is also not anything separate from consciousness. Because it is merely a co-emergent imprint, the notions of reliance, happiness, self, and mine, etc., are incorrect views of the truth of suffering. For the truth of the origin, it is causeless, unoriginated, unborn, without conditions, etc. For the truth of cessation, it is without cessation, without peace, without excellence, without liberation, etc. For the truth of the path, it is without path, without reason, without practice, without definite non-arising, etc. These sixteen views are incorrect, because fabricating these views leads to craving for the four noble truths. Regarding these four noble truths themselves, through the view that is contrary to the incorrect views, that has the ability to truly understand each aspect, and is well cultivated, one can destroy craving and its followers, thereby attaining liberation from the cessation of craving. Karma and the body are not permanent. If there is no craving, how can one attain liberation? It is said: Even if karma and the body exist, because one factor is missing, namely the three causes, life will not arise. Just as without a seed, there will be no sprout. That is to say, due to the factors of ignorance, karma, and the body, life arises. Even if karma and the body exist, but because the factor of craving is missing, life will not arise. For example, if there is no seed, even if there is soil, etc., there will be no sprout growing. Or rather, from karma and the body, as long as one ceases, one can attain liberation. Therefore, it is said that when karma ceases, one can attain liberation.

It is not abandoning karma and the body, because there is no antidote, because there is no ability, and even if craving exists, it will arise. This means that it is not cutting off craving, nor is it exhausting oneself through other antidotes, because the actions of the senses, etc., have already been refuted. Therefore, since there is no antidote to karma, one cannot abandon karma and the body. Even if there is an antidote, one should not become familiar with the antidote because one does not understand karma, and one should not abandon it because one cannot exhaust karma. It is craving that creates karma, and from craving, attachment, etc., arise effortlessly. Therefore, if craving exists, samsara will arise again. So, will both karma and craving be exhausted? It is not like that, even if one strives to exhaust both, the effort to exhaust karma will become meaningless, it is best to prevent craving, and if one says that it is only preventing karma, that is not the case, because it has already been explained that there is no antidote. Furthermore, because one sees various kinds of results, one can infer various kinds of karmic forces. Therefore, how can one exhaust karma by enjoying one result of the nature of suffering, etc.? Because, in some way, that result is produced, and that result only experiences a part of the result, so it arises from that karma, and the result itself is prevented by experiencing the result, rather than producing a result that is incompatible with it. However, by the power of asceticism, the powers are mixed and exhausted, by which part of the affliction can all afflictions be abandoned? This means, does asceticism not have power? Its karma mixes various powers, that is, giving the same result. Exhausted

It is destroyed by all self-natures. Therefore, if one abandons all karma with a portion of afflictions, then it is also said in response: If affliction is asceticism, then that other is affliction itself. Because that is the result of karma, therefore, from this asceticism, it is not a mixture of abilities, etc. That is to say, if it is completely other than suffering, then at that time, from a portion of affliction, all karma can be abandoned, referring to the aspect of mixed abilities. In the aspect of exhaustion, it is abandoned as the non-existence of affliction itself. However, if the nature of affliction is asceticism, then because asceticism with the nature of affliction is the result of karma, this asceticism is not without mixing the ability of karma, and it will not be exhausted, because livestock, etc., that rely on the sun due to cold, will also excessively become exhausted of karma. However, that is not the result of karma, because it is entered into according to desire. The result of karma arises detached from desire, if you say so, that is not true, because obtaining a kingdom, etc., according to desire will not become the result of karma. However, one abandons without attachment to a king, etc., and hell, etc., are helplessly fallen into, so one can only experience it. Therefore, if one considers suffering itself to be asceticism, then the suffering of hell
