The sound produced by the particularity of smoke and the particularity of a vase does not make it smoke. However, smoke that does not arise without fire is generally certain. If one argues that eyes and other organs cannot see immediately because they transcend the senses, then it is said here: In the self-nature of the previous sense organ, the various abilities are seen. Because change is seen, the arising of other sense organs is also established. This means that the previously arisen eyes and other organs can see various abilities in their own kind of sense organs and so on. Just like this, relying on the previous sense organs, other sense organs can be seen. If someone asks, aren't the sense organs the same until death? The answer is no. Because one can see knowledge, or the changes such as the appearance of blurry impurities in the eyes and other organs, or the absence of impurities, the arising of each sense organ is established. This shows that a connection can be established without relying on the particularity of clarity. Otherwise, no one can name anything anywhere, because naming must be preceded by the ability to function, and the certainty of being able to function comes from generality. It is certain that eyes and other organs can be produced by eyes and other organs, because it has already been shown that one can see sharpness and other characteristics. If someone asks, are the first eyes and other organs produced from the body, and later aren't eyes and other organs produced from the eyes and other organs themselves? Here it is said: If they are produced from the body, then they will fall into the same fallacy as before. If they are produced from the mind, then other bodies will also be produced from the mind. This means that if the first eyes and other organs are produced from the body, then are they produced from a body with sense organs or from a body without sense organs? If they are produced from a body with sense organs, then, just as before, the eyes and other organs are also produced from a body with sense organs, therefore, the existence of the afterlife will be established. If they are produced from a body without sense organs, then, just as nails and other things can grow from a corpse, they will fall into the same fallacy as before, or how will the body's abilities be reversed? This is the fallacy to be revealed. However, because a corpse does not have consciousness, nails and other things will not grow.

Oh, then, because it is easy to arise from the mind, therefore from that very mind will arise the mind and body of the next world, therefore from that very mind will arise the mind and body of the next world. To summarize: Therefore, because of being separated from the cause, the final consciousness itself for all connections is not a connection, such an argument, I think is with remainder. Just like saying, the mind manifestly accumulated by karma corresponding to craving and ignorance is the cause of the next world, if separated from it, then all dying consciousnesses have no connection with other births, because the self-continuity is not established. Therefore, because it is the dying consciousness, like saying this, this is a true sign, such a claim, I think is with remainder, because merely not observing, it is not certain to return, this has been explained. In the commentary of Pramāṇavārttika, the seventh chapter. If it is said again, the mind of this world is the producer of the mind of another world, because it is dependent on different bodies, just like the mind of Devadatta, that is also not true, because like this, it has been explained that cognition is not dependent on the body. Furthermore, consciousness is not where the body dwells, because it does not have entry anywhere. Therefore, the body, whether external or internal, is the object of consciousness. Even without this body, it has the ability to transfer to other consciousnesses, for example, at some time, the consciousness that focuses on form, even without that form, focuses on its own body or another's body, just like mutual focus, consciousness has the ability to transfer to other bodies. Or, just as the mind accustomed to the body of a child, from the body of an old person, the mind will become distracted. For that, there is one proximate cause, and for the body of other births, there are other semen and blood as proximate causes, if you say so, that is not right, because it only establishes that the bodies of children and old people are different, so only the intention to enter different bodies, for example, is used as a metaphor.
