It is only the understanding of the distinct nature of concepts and experiences. The appearance of a cow in conceptualization is not clear in its distinctness as its own nature, because it is not different from its own nature. In experience, only clarity as its own nature appears, and what can be conceptualized, from the clear and unclear appearances, what is called different appearances can be understood as not being distant eons. Therefore, the unclearness experienced from distant eons is inconsistent with the appearance of conceptualization, because there it is understood as merely seeing, not conceptualization. Therefore, when understanding blue here, even if it is understood as "This is blue," the blue itself, understood as difference, does not appear clearly, because it is itself a different thing. If it is said that the difference between these is only unclearness, then a thing cannot be called unclear. The nature of unclearness from distant eons has already been explained. What is the unclear difference for a clear thing? Difference lies in the fact that the nature of the two will ultimately change. Therefore, only in the nature of blue, distinguished from things like yellow, some nature that is not mixed with other natures appears, therefore, understanding difference is not experience. What follows is also not experience. Speckled and yellowish-white colors, etc., because they do not appear at all in their own nature, and in natures and objects other than their own object. Clarity does not follow in an unclear way. If it is said that there is an appearance other than one's own nature and one's own object, then it is not speckled, but it has the attribute of a cow. Just as speckled is a cow, and yellowish-white also appears as a cow, if it were not a cow, it would become the nature of appearing as a buffalo, etc. Therefore, what exists in one thing also exists in another, how can it be said that there is no following of nature? To this it is answered: Indeed, speckled and yellowish-white are different from buffalo, etc.

Although the appearance is such, what the spotted cow has, the yellow cow does not necessarily have, because the places and so on are different. Therefore, if it is not a cow, then both cannot return from being non-cows. If the spotted cow is a cow, and the yellow cow is also a cow, even so, the cow-ness that exists in one does not exist in the other, because there are faults such as simultaneous arising. Therefore, the appearances of cows such as spotted cows are only cows. If it is not cow-ness, like buffaloes and so on, it cannot return from being non-cows. However, the cow-ness of one does not exist in the other, so there is no following, but it is established that it appears as cow-ness. The commentary is "These appearances are" and so on. Because they do not follow each other, it has already been said that they will become different. Because it said "There is also following," it said "to them." To show what it relies on to become other, it is "from them." "Different" means becoming another meaning. "Thus" means becoming different itself. Even so, because the difference is not seen, it is said to be non-existent. For whom the view has the function of cognition, that will be established as non-existent. For example, like a pot and so on, what is seen is the stable place of the object, which is a limb of complete destruction. Therefore, the invisible general characteristic is certainly not capable, because conceptual thought itself is the nature of certainty. If it is said that the appearance of language cannot understand itself, even if it cannot understand in that way, it can certainly judge "This is like this," for example, although the experiencing nature of conceptual thought is considered to be the appearance itself, it can also certainly judge it as the experiencing nature, so through complete understanding, it is established as inconsistent with the appearance. Similarly, the appearance of cows and so on, even if the non-different appearance becomes the ultimate of cognition, it can certainly judge the different and empty following nature, thereby establishing it. Such establishment is also established based on the appearance of direct perception.
