In order to clarify the characteristics of placing essence first and the manner of having characteristics, holding characteristics is because if one does not hold it, it does not exist. Whatever characteristics do not exist without holding, holding characteristics is like that. If one holds only to benefit all, then one holds only all. If one holds fire by discriminating as the cause of smoke, then it is not possible not to hold smoke. If it does not exist without holding, then without holding what is to be benefited, it will not become holding the one with characteristics as the one who benefits, which is called 'otherwise'. Likewise, it is also indeed as having characteristics. Saying that not holding is also not reasonable is called merely benefiting others. The 'other' here is a change, and if it is not other, then it is not the conclusion that it is not. If one holds what necessarily benefits, since one holds the benefit to it, it is not possible not to hold what is to be benefited. The explanation of that is that the one who benefits is like that. If one does not hold what is to be benefited, then the one who benefits will also be considered not held, like a master and servant. If one holds the servant himself, it is not possible not to hold the master. Although there are no characteristics and things with characteristics here, even so, holding the master does not depend on holding the servant, and even though the master does not appear in the servant's consciousness, holding the servant also depends on holding the master, so this is the example. Just as from the former to the latter, one is able to understand it from that, but it is not understood as different like characteristics and things with characteristics. Holding what is to be benefited and the one who benefits is the nature of characteristics and things with characteristics, like cause and effect. If one understands the thing with characteristics through characteristics, like saying 'this is a pillar' or 'it is impermanent', understanding it through that is not different from it, and if one understands through other characteristics, then the characteristic that is different from what is understood through that will be understood as related, such as the impermanence of sound. Therefore, the sound here does not

, one will realize that it is related to impermanence. At that time, impermanence itself is not a particularity or a connection. If one realizes that it is absorbed into it, then it becomes a particularity, not through realizing a connection. This is said to be a method of realizing its own nature. According to the way you describe it, this is not unreasonable. Therefore, why say "beneficial to various particularities" and so on? It should be thought that in such a statement, being absorbed into it or appearing as its own nature, merely the sound, becomes the essence, which will eliminate the obstacles in front. When one understands through the particularity of sound and understands through the other particularity of impermanence, is it that one understands the particularity itself more? Or does one understand some particularity that has particularity? To this, since there is no difference in one's own essence here, therefore, one understands all essences only through the path of sound, then through the path of impermanence, what particularity that is not different from it will one understand? This itself becomes its particularity. Therefore, through the word "sound," one can understand all its own nature, but the particularity is only one. Therefore, when one understands "impermanence," one will understand more particularities. This is merely understanding that "sound is related to impermanence." If this is not a particularity because there is no understanding of non-difference, then who will answer this question? If, like performing an approximate conversion, one can tolerate understanding the particularities that exist in various ways as non-different through approximate combination, then undoubtedly, when one understands that what should be understood is related, how will one understand other things? One will only understand the way it is in its own essence. When the moon and so on are understood through the understanding of countless perceivers with different objects, one does not cling to other own natures. Therefore, undoubtedly, the particularity that should be understood will be understood as it is in its own essence. If, because one understands through other paths, others should not understand it that way, then how is this reasonable? If the meaning can be understood that way through the word "sound," then why can't all particularities understand it that way? Therefore, since it is unreasonable in any way, other statements...
