It is only from the non-apprehension of such a thing that 'non-existence' is established. For, if the wisdom that is the object of apprehension is not established, then even the reversal of the valid cognition of the establisher will not establish 'non-existence'. Now, the meaning of becoming an object of apprehension is: own-nature, particularity, that which possesses particularity, and the collection of other causes. Own-nature, that which possesses particularity, is anything that is devoid of appearance that is not the nature of non-existence by the three times. If there is such a nature that appears in the valid cognition of the establisher, and other things that have become the cause of apprehension do not appear in that way, then that is the object of the term 'non-existence'. The sign that something else exists from that is doubt. Here, all things that exist in such a way are encompassed by all of 'non-existence', because admitting that something does not exist means that other things do not have particularity. If one does not admit such a form of 'non-existence', then there is no connection with other things. If such a form exists and other conditions of apprehension exist, then there is no non-apprehension. Because such a non-apprehension is 'non-existence'. The reason for the term 'non-existence' is only that, because there is no other reason. If it is said that being devoid of all abilities is the reason, then that is indeed the case, because being devoid of all abilities is understood in that way, because there is no other way to understand it. If that is understood, then it will become the term 'existence', therefore this is said to be its reason. If it is said that intelligence, sound, and action are the meaning of the term 'existence', and the opposite is the meaning of the term 'non-existence', then, as has been said, the appearance of intelligence is the term 'existence', and the object of the opposite is the term 'non-existence'. Even if it is not the object of valid cognition, but something that arises from some sign, it will become the term 'existence', and the term 'non-existence' is definitely its opposite. For the meaning of time, if the valid cognition of the establisher or another valid cognition is reversed, then it is doubt. All of these, whether the same or different, of intelligence and sound, do not establish that a thing exists, that a thing is different, or that different exists. In any case, non-existent things such as the past and the future, and various meanings...

And for actions that perform a single function, etc., for the sake of clarifying things that are diverse and of a single nature, even though they do not exist. Things that are diverse and of a single nature do not exist, but for the sake of clarifying them. The reason why natures that are diverse and of a single nature enter. For example, royal families revered by many kings can be extremely proliferated, offering stupas transformed by many reverences, and the wheel-turning king is lifted with conch shells, etc. And rabbit horns, etc., and shapes that can be shown, and those with obstacles, and those called vases, etc. The sounds of what can be shown, etc., are not objects of various things, because they are gathered in one. If it is thought that even if there are various objects, the reason for gathering in one is because it is related to it. Alas! Asceticism clings to painful things, does not bring those who are related closer, and wants from those various sounds of self-nature, and by what difference in ability, rather than making various related things, why not directly use it to produce various sounds? If that is the case, then this will completely abandon the smoker who enters through tradition. If there is no ability to produce various sounds, then it will not bring various related things closer. If there is no one to bring those closer, then its relatedness itself will not be established. For this thing called a vase, it is also because shapes, etc., perform a single function that the sound of a vase is spoken, what is the need to distinguish other things? Even if there are many, they will perform a single function, just like eyes, etc. In order to show its power, a sound will definitely be combined with it, and such a reason is also obvious. Worldly people do not combine sounds with things for no reason. For it, whether simultaneous or separate those things, in order to clarify the things that have the same necessity, what will happen when a sound is combined? In order to show their ability to do one thing. Those sounds will definitely be combined, and the general words being the same is not contradictory.
