Now, the contradictory points will be pointed out. This shows that it is wrong to think that suffering can be abandoned by being free from desire. Even if it transforms like that, even if one has become free from desire, it only abandons the suffering that can be abandoned. If it is said that it is not abandoning the "I" that can be abandoned, then if the cause of suffering is not separated from the "I", it is also unavoidable. If so, isn't the "I" also not being abandoned? If one admits to abandoning the self-nature of the cause of suffering, because it has the self-nature of destruction, then the "I" will become a state of no-self. Furthermore, by practicing suffering, my desire will decrease. Through this habit, suffering will manifest. Because the result of all methods of effort, such as practice, is a manifested state. Because apart from that, there is no more excellent difference in results. Even if there is, there is no difference. To show that not arising desire is even less than the manifestation produced by practice. It is also said that through practicing suffering, those and so on. Yogis, practicing suffering, only makes it manifest, but cannot make it more excellent. From where can one gradually become free from desire? What is the suffering shown in the scriptures? Through practice, what is being practiced? That was also a manifestation before. If so, one will not have freedom from desire. Therefore, through practice, even if suffering manifests, one will not be free from desire. For liberation, the treatise that only shows through practicing suffering does not show anything unseen. Like this, through practicing suffering, if the practitioner is not a constant cause for being free from desire, even if it can show, the treatise is without result. We had not seen no-self before, later we made it manifest through practice, therefore it is reasonable to be free from desire. The connection is, whoever is attached to the self, that will manifest suffering.

Even though suffering has been seen, it does not necessarily lead to detachment from desire. For example, this is the state of ordinary individuals. If someone wants to witness suffering directly, but later still clings to self, this is called observing contradictory causes. If someone detaches from desire by seeing faults in some. Therefore, whoever clings to self, even if they have directly witnessed suffering, etc., such reasoning becomes an uncertain or unestablished reason. If someone thinks like that, it is not so. If that is the case, even for some object that is considered to bring happiness to oneself, because of some faults, the mind changes in an instant. As long as faults are seen, it is like someone who is attached. Even so, regarding the object to which faults are attached, it should be seen that he is not completely detached from desire, because he has not abandoned attachment to all objects. From the perspective of seeing merits, it is also possible to be attached to different things. What is this like? It's like towards other women who have desire. For example, some people detach from desire by seeing some flaws in other women, but for other women, he has not detached from desire. The residue of desire arising towards other objects will also become the cause of generating desire towards that woman. Therefore, even if there are simultaneous situations of seeing merits through different ways, but when a person once lost desire for a woman, and later generates desire for her again, then he is not completely detached from desire. Like this, if there is a difference between taking and abandoning. Some people should be abandoned, such as women who should not be desired. Some should be acquired, such as women who should be desired. Therefore, even if there are various kinds of taking and abandoning. The desire arising from one object is following the thing that wants to be acquired. The desire that follows the object of desire is,

It is nature, it is the reason. When generated by variety, it becomes the seed of attachment. At one time, some parts of me become free from attachment, even so, because the attachment to me has not been abandoned, that seed will also cause some parts of me to become attached, just like to other women. Therefore, he is not very free from attachment to some parts. Combination is, through the difference of taking and abandoning, even if some parts are free from attachment, some parts will become attached, that is his attachment, at the same time, to the object without attachment, it is also the seed of generating attachment from the continuum. For example, being attached to one woman, not being attached to other women, but through variety, it will also become the remaining attachment seed that generates attachment to that object. The man who wants to be free from attachment, this is also through the difference of taking and abandoning, even if some parts of me are free from attachment, it will become a person who is attached to me, this is called self-nature reasoning. Seeing no-self also does not have this fault, because seeing no-self, there is no difference in non-attachment to all of me and mine. Furthermore, attachment to me and mine etc. is not non-attachment. In that case, because I am without fault, so attachment to him etc. is also without fault, because there is attachment to the faultless, the attachment arising from the faultless me is also faultless. The proof is, that which can establish the enjoyment of me without fault, the senses etc. are also without fault. If it is only these, just like me and attachment to him and the eyes and body etc. Because this is without fault, so one should not practice non-attachment. Because there is also nothing else that should be abandoned. What will those men become attached to and not attached to? Through what will they be liberated from the bonds of samsara? Combination is, any desire for an object without fault is without fault, just like the desire for liberation. I
