is the enjoyer. Thus, women are not found, and sexual activity with animals is seen. Desiring men do not find union with women. Even in the behavior of animals, they engage in desire out of craving for their own pleasure and attachment to themselves, relying on intermediaries like parents. Therefore, those who dwell in samsara and seek happiness do not truly find happiness. If, due to craving, a person is attached to themselves and completely abandons the cause of suffering, then how can they be truly free from desire? Union is attachment to oneself and the manifestation of seeking special pleasure, but mostly it also leads to seeking suffering, as one becomes involved due to craving for pleasure. For example, someone tormented by heat, even knowing that drinking cold water will worsen their condition, still drinks cold water. Or, knowing that they will die from the suffering of hunger, if there is no other way to seek special pleasure, they might consume food mixed with poison. This state of wanting a person to be free from desire is also attachment to oneself and the manifestation of seeking special pleasure, which is a natural inference. Because one desires that all the bases for enjoyment, etc., are incomplete, or there is no difference, in reality, one would want that self to be destroyed. What does one want for oneself? People are clearly attached to themselves. How could they want destruction? Words like 'experience' indicate no difference. How could one want due to attachment? It is not wanting oneself. What is it like? Experience, terms, and qualities, all the bases are changing. The basis of all experiences is changing, the basis of all terms is changing, and the basis of all qualities such as wisdom is changing. Why not want destruction? Like this, attachment, the nature of that clinging, that is, the essence, does not exist. All the bases for enjoyment, etc...

One seeks the meaning of desire with a nature that is equal to non-existence, being completely free from all attachments. The argument is: whoever is attached to something, then all the experiences, terms, and qualities that depend on it are extremely undesirable, like a father's attachment to his son. To say that this person is also attached to the self is a contradictory perception of pervasion. If one considers this to be the basis of experience, terms, and qualities, then one would consider it to be without self. In that case, there is no difference between being without inherent existence and being the basis of experience, terms, and all qualities. The argument is: whatever is the nature of the basis of all experiences and terms is without self, like the son of a barren woman. A person who desires liberation is also the nature of the basis of all experiences and terms, which is the reason of nature. Therefore, whoever does not consider the self to be non-existent should not consider all of his experiences, etc., to be contradictory. The argument is: whoever does not consider something to be completely non-existent does not consider it to be the contradictory basis of experience, terms, and qualities, like a father's attachment to his son. A person who desires to be free from attachment also does not consider the self to be completely non-existent, which is the non-perception of pervasion. Because that is so, therefore, by clinging to the self in various ways, one relies on strong attachment to the self. Therefore, this person's attachment to the self is also not contradictory. Why? Because, like this, the seed of attachment to the self, which is called attachment to the self, remains in a conditional manner. Whoever possesses a certain cause will also possess that cause, like someone who possesses the cause of disease will also possess the disease. This person also possesses the cause of attachment to the self, which is attachment to the self, which is the reason of nature. If one strives to be free from the attachment to suffering,

Even if there are diligent authors, because of relying on the part of merit, when I see the part of merit and do not abandon it, although the manifestation of clinging to self does not flow, if it possesses the causes and conditions as they are, it will hinder the separation from self-clinging that tends towards manifestation, and that is not obscuring faults. If self-clinging has not been abandoned, then it is not possible to abandon my clinging. For example, if one has not abandoned attachment to something, even if one is diligent in order to be free from attachment to it, merely because one sees the part of its merits, one will subsequently cling to it, subsequently combine with it, and will obscure seeing its faults. For example, just as ordinary people do not abandon attachment to a son who is merely faulty. This person also has not abandoned my attachment, which is a natural inference. Although it changes like this, if one is free from attachment to self, just as one is free from mine, one will also abandon attachment to self. Therefore, if it is said that all inferences made through clinging to self are not established, then this is without fault, because here there is no cause for separation from attachment. Furthermore, being free from attachment to self is also more excellent, even so, for whom, if one becomes free from attachment to this, one will not abandon this, for example, like me. Even if a person becomes free from attachment to self, he will not abandon self. Similarly, even if one is free from attachment to mine, it will not be abandoned, if that is the case, then there is no need to practice suffering. If that is the case, practicing suffering is to seek the cause of abandoning suffering, which is complete detachment from desire. If, when one obtains detachment from desire, one does not abandon self, then just like that, practicing suffering will not abandon self either. For example, if something exists but does not change, then it is not its cause, for example, even if a barley seed exists, a rice sprout will not grow. Abandoning self is also like this, even if detachment from desire exists, it will not change, this is universal.
