That transformation comes from that. For example, like a sprout that grows from a seed. For hair, nails, phlegm, etc., that abide in the self, even without attachment and separation, if I have the mind of self, it will transform. For those that are detached from the body, because there is that, even without difference, it will not transform, this is called the reason of nature. Although it transforms in this way, if because of familiarizing oneself with the practice of suffering, one abandons attachment to the self, etc., then, if someone says: 'By what does one grasp what as one's own self?' the formulation does not establish the reason. That is not so, like this: For that, the aggregation that agrees with one's own mind, and so on, are born from relationship. For attachment, etc., it comes from the relationship of the aggregation of one's own mind agreeing with the self. Saying 'etc.' is to include that the body is the basis of enjoyment, and that the senses are the accomplishment of enjoyment, born from relationship. Even if the relationship itself is a state of wanting attachment and separation, it is still not incomplete as before. Even though one sees the faults of attachment to the self, etc., in this way, one does not destroy one's own mind of attachment to the self, etc., which is born from the relationship of the aggregation of agreement, etc. The formulation is, by what, to what, by what is knowledge generated, that which, if it exists, will not be destroyed. For example, for the sprout that arises and appears from seeds, etc., there is the knowledge of the name of that fruit. The knowledge of one's own nature of attachment, etc., is also born from the relationship of the aggregation of agreement, etc., this is called the contradictory object of pervasion. Furthermore, the Samkhyas think that by the relationship of the aggregation of agreement, etc., the mind of one's own self, such as attachment to the self, etc., arises, that because there is no attachment and separation from that, one will not be liberated. We think that as long as there is a mind that definitely identifies nature and the person as one, one will be in samsara. When one knows that nature and the person are other, because one knows the difference between nature and the person, one will be liberated. That and that also, for that, the aggregation of agreement of one's own mind, etc., is born from relationship, saying 'etc.' there is to eliminate.
