Because observation is the antidote to faults, if one becomes accustomed to it and it becomes one's own nature, then the faults will not arise, as it is the nature of dharma. Although it may change in this way, although afflictions may be stopped by becoming accustomed to the antidote, these are not the nature of non-arising, because they are the nature of sentient beings, like form, etc. For example, the nature of form, etc., the substance with form, does not perish. By saying "etc.", for example, the nature of heat, etc., of fire, etc., is taken. The connection is, whatever is the nature of something, then when it exists, it does not end, like the heat of fire, or like this, the essence of form, etc., which corresponds to it, does not end. Saying that desire, etc., is also the nature of sentient beings, this indicates pervasive contradiction. Therefore, faults are extremely. Not exhausted, because of the nature of sentient beings, Like form, etc., not so, but only exhausted. Why? Because this reason is not established, and some sentient beings do not exist, whose desire, etc., is the dharma? All of this is only a condition. Therefore, because the conditions are not complete, the arising that depends on it does not exist, so it is not established. Regarding this, if it is said that sentient beings are by nature or arise from it as the nature of dharma, then for the time being it is not nature, because nature is luminous Because it is shown as sudden, it is not established. If it is said "arising from it", this is the meaning of dependent arising, then the knowledge of a snake arises or does not arise on a rope, so it is uncertain. Because it sometimes arises, the reason is not established, because sometimes some afflictions will arise, but not all. Whatever is nature, it will not sometimes arise, for example, the form, etc., of things with form is like that. Because nature is not established, the reason is not established. The connection is, whatever sometimes arises to something, then it is its nature.

It does not change, like the smell of wind. Attachment and so on also arise occasionally in the continuum of consciousness, which is called the contradiction of pervasion. It has the characteristic of seeing selflessness, if it is associated with the antidote, if it is present, it will also see the reversal. Because attachment and so on are not seen to be present during that time. If it is not its nature, then it is an unestablished reason. The example is, if something has an antidote present, then the abandoned thing is certainly not a present phenomenon, such as if cold is present, stones and so on do not have a warm touch. Attachment and so on are also abandoned in the continuum of consciousness if an antidote is present, which is called the contradiction of pervasion. Although it will change like that, just as when the non-common fire of the hardness of copper and so on is present and melts, even if the hardness itself has disappeared, it will still appear again, similarly, when the antidote is present and reversed, the afflictions are also the nature of arising again. Therefore, if the antidote of something is not necessarily extremely separated from it due to habituation, if someone says so. Just like hardness, it will not arise, referring to afflictions. Why? Because the fault is completely stopped, its nature is irreversible. The fire that contradicts the hardness of copper and so on is sometimes very close. The absence of hardness and so on is because when it is present, hardness and so on are not present, and when it is not present, reversal is also reasonable. Similarly, here, if the path changes, it will change like that, but from where is it not like that? Then what is it? Seeing selflessness that can stop faults, because of extreme habituation, the mind will become its nature. Therefore, because the cause of becoming its nature does not reverse, and because there is no destruction, faults will not arise. The example is, in something, the antidote of something declines
