Furthermore, not understanding the inverted, that itself is (ignorance). As it is said in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis, when observing the arising and destruction of the world, one thinks thus: All those attachments that arise in the world arise from the manifest clinging to self; if one is free from the manifest clinging to self, then arising also ceases to exist, one thinks thus. He thinks thus: Those with childish minds, obscured by the dimness of not understanding the manifest clinging to self, with manifest desire for existence and non-existence, arising from improper attention, entering the wrong path, following the wrong path, those merits and non-merits, and also the unwavering formations, etc., the seeds of consciousness completely imbued by those formations, with defilements and attachment, in the future the nature of birth and aging and death, the manifestation of existence is established, arising approaches, thus it is said. Here also, by showing the limb of ignorance, the view of self is shown. Therefore, not understanding the truths is ignorance, thus, as the nature described before, it should be regarded as inverted knowledge. Here, if it is said that the view that is in accordance with ignorance, through that gateway only ignorance is shown, it should not be understood in that way, because if one speaks of the nature of ignorance and speaks of something else, one will obtain the fault of the speaker being unskilled, and there is no certainty in speaking thus. Understanding the meaning as previously stated is also in accordance with reason. Therefore, it should be observed that it is not reasonable to show another ignorance from the ignorance shown as before. What contradiction is there, should be explained here. Therefore, when establishing the nature of not understanding, it should be illustrated as if there are some contradictions in the differences of the textual aspects, because there is no contradiction of the nature as previously stated, it should be well shown. For example, if the view of the aggregates itself is ignorance, then, the view and the corresponding is ignorance, saying the meaning of the corresponding is not reasonable, because it is impossible for oneself to correspond with oneself.

Considering "existent" and "true" are not other meanings, but rather refer to having similarity here, which is not the characteristic of abandonment. However, it universally indicates parts and objects with parts. For example, like a forest with leaves, etc., and a body with hands, etc. Therefore, here, having-ness is called having-ness similarly. The body is not other, but rather refers to having hands, etc. So, what is it? It refers to indicating a part and an object with a part. Similarly, here, ignorance is an object with a part, and the essence of its part is the view of the aggregates as a self. The necessity of indicating it in this way is to indicate a part, so there is no contradiction. Similarly, other things should also be stated appropriately. Because all the faults that arise from clinging to a self in this way are because of the view of emptiness and its opposite. Seeing selflessness is because it is the opposite of clinging to a self. Its nature, that is, having the characteristic of the nature of clinging to a self, and together with all the faults such as attachment that arise from clinging to a self, are actually completely contradictory. Combination means that whatever is contradictory with something, actually becomes contradictory with its nature. For example, fire, which is the opposite of cold, is the opposite of the characteristics of cold, such as the cold touch, etc., and the characteristics of the result of cold, such as goosebumps, etc. Considering that the view of emptiness is also contradictory with clinging to a self, this is the reason of nature. Or, whatever is the nature of something, actually becomes contradictory with its opposite. For example, the law of the nature of cold mentioned earlier is actually contradictory with fire, which is the opposite of cold. Attachment, etc., are also the nature of clinging to the aggregates as a self, which is the reason of nature. This is not unestablished, because the arising of attachment, etc., which is possessed by beings who cling to a self and cling to what is mine, has already been indicated and will be indicated. Therefore, selflessness.
