Those whose actions have inexhaustible power, like the Bodhisattvas. If dwelling in a faultless place does not become a fault, then it is not undesirable. If those without attachment dwell in compassion, when they dwell in compassion and think of the benefit of sentient beings, why do they not abide for a long time? The reason is that dwelling in compassion is abiding by thinking of the benefit of sentient beings, and not completely liberated from suffering, just like their previous state. Later, they also abide in compassion, which is a reasoning of nature. In relation to the second thing to be proven, it points out the contradictory pervasiveness. Those who put sentient beings first and have not previously become very accustomed to compassion, such as the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Because those people have less compassion, and also because of less compassion, apart from the continuation of the aggregates propelled by previous karma, there is no great effort to abide through rebirth. Therefore, they do not abide for a long time. Because there is no compassion that makes them abide in that way, this reason is not unestablished. Those great Bodhisattvas, who are extremely gentle for no reason, have a previous Bodhicitta, and due to the power of habituating loving-kindness, great compassion arises naturally, possessing the cause of abiding without interruption, those people abide for the sake of others. Abiding at all times for the benefit of sentient beings, that is a re-proving of what has already been established. Whoever has a view of self is a perceiver who takes suffering as happiness, and will be reborn again. Therefore, if the view of the perishable aggregate is separated from the cause of rebirth, then the first path, such as the Stream-enterer, that is, the path of seeing itself, will become liberation from existence, if that also does not change, therefore attachment to self is not the cause of rebirth, if it is said like this, then that is not without existence itself. Why is that? Because there is no innate abandonment? There are two aspects of the view of self, namely, the imputed and the innate. The imputed

Since those are not very commonly used Dharmas, they are abandoned. That will not become a cause for binding birth. The innate view of the perishable aggregate, which is the cause of existence, is not abandoned by themselves. Since that cause is not abandoned, the attachment to self has not returned, and existence exists in that way. Commentary on the Explanation of Valid Cognition, Volume Nineteen. If the innate view of the perishable aggregate is abandoned, then if it is admitted that the view itself is abandoned, from where does existence come? That is not the attainment itself. What is the innate view of self that is not abandoned? For a while, the stream-enterer will wish: 'May I be happy, may I not be tormented.' The state of existence of wishing to be happy or not tormented. Here, it is thought that any thought of 'I' is an innate view of sentient beings. That is also the cause of existence. Because, some people have not seen 'I', they will not be attached to self. Therefore, the inverted thought of suffering is the attachment to self. Without attachment to self, no one will obviously want happiness except for attachment to self. Therefore, what the stream-enterer completely clings to with inverted thoughts is the craving for self. Therefore, the innate view of sentient beings is not abandoned. The combination is that whoever has the thought of the illusion of happiness in suffering will also combine existence, which is connected to self-attachment, such as ordinary people. For stream-enterers and others, the thought of the illusion of happiness in suffering will also combine existence, which is the reason for the result. Whoever is connected to self-attachment has not abandoned the innate view of the perishable aggregate, such as ordinary people. Stream-enterers and others are also connected to self-attachment, which is the reason for the nature. If the self is bound and
