Therefore, it is shown that the distinct nature contradicts the view of seeing self as truly existent. And the self-nature explains the essence here. Because of the non-reversed nature, since it is contrary to its opposite, seeing no-self destroys the view of seeing self and what belongs to self as real. Because it is a companion of truth and reliability, one does not strive to abandon it. Self-nature indicates that it can be reversed through effort. Whatever is the self-nature of something, it cannot be reversed without effort, such as a person with cleanliness habits being reborn as a skull-bearer. Because it is the truth, not making an effort to try, it will not completely decline. This has been discussed before. This explains that there will be no turning back again. Now, in order to explain the meaning of "without remainder," explaining through body, speech, etc., then what is remaining? What is abandoned to be understood as having passed away, therefore called Sugata? That is, the bad habits of body, speech, and mind. Body, It is said. What is it like? That is, without afflictions and without disease. Because there are no afflictions, there is no disease and suffering. Moreover, it will not be combined with the suffering of samsara. Among them, the bad habits of the non-afflicted body, even without thinking, will jump and walk, etc., due to habit. The bad habits of speech, even without the arrogance of "I am," will commonly use actions such as mentioning caste. The bad habits of the mind, that is, the state of mind that has not been prophesied because it has not been continuously focused, these three bad habits are what remain. Because the road has not been familiarized in many ways for a long time, it is impossible to distinguish the merits and demerits of the road and its opposite. Or, understanding the road as it is, but not being clear enough when distinguishing and explaining it, this is what remains. As it is said, those remaining, those who act for the benefit of others, familiarize the road in many ways and in many forms for a long time, therefore abandoning without remainder. That

Because of having the power of (Buddha's) sovereignty, Arhats and others do not possess it. Even in liberation, they do not possess the final abandonment of the body, because the body is to be severed by many lifetimes. Arhats and others also do not possess the continuation of rebirth. Some kings and others say that because of speaking and other reasons, if the reasons of the speaker and others cannot exhaust some faults, then from where can one completely abandon or change them? What is established by the speaker and others cannot prevent the exhaustion of faults. Why? Because it is established without contradiction, so the speaker and others will retreat, because of doubt, so the retreat from reversal is doubt itself, therefore it is uncertain. If this is the case, because it has been studied many times, it will not be elaborated here. Because merely speaking, faults cannot be exhausted, this statement is very unreasonable. However, some sentient beings think like this: faults will not be exhausted, they will change their minds. For example, because it is permanent, because it is constantly existing. How can whatever is permanent be exhausted? Although it is not permanent, but impermanent, but if they do not have a method of exhaustion, then how will they be exhausted? Thus, because there is no method, faults will not be exhausted. If there is a method to exhaust these faults, then no one will study these methods, from where can they be exhausted through effort? Thus, either because the method is not understood, it will be thought that it will not be exhausted. The syllogism is: whatever is permanent will not be exhausted, for example, space. Faults are also permanent. This is called the appearance of contradiction. Whatever does not have a method of exhaustion will not be exhausted, for example, space itself. Faults and others also do not have a method of exhaustion, this is called the non-appearance of pervasiveness. Whatever is not a reasonable method of exhaustion cannot be exhausted, for example, a quack doctor who does not have a reasonable method of exhausting diseases. This person is also not a reasonable method of exhausting afflictions.
