Whatever is the cause of producing a single result, such as holding, etc., whatever, like wood, is thought to be preventable, will be prevented. Why? Because it is to show that it is capable of producing a single result. It is precisely because of this distinction. Even for many things, such as form, etc., when one wants to express that they have a single function, there is no contradiction in using the single word "pot" because it follows convention. Because it expresses an aggregate, it abandons the distinct characteristics of the functions that are specific to form, etc. Therefore, a pot is form, not sound, because it expresses abandonment of meaning and has no common basis. The sound that expresses the category "tree" also applies in a way that does not abandon its distinctions, so it becomes "the sala tree is a tree." The expression of category and aggregate, this difference is also accepted. The difference in the nature of abandoning and not abandoning is also accepted. In "the expression of category and aggregate," in relation to things that have aggregates such as form, etc., the word "pot" is used to express the aggregate. Because it abandons the distinct functions of form, etc., it has no common basis with the words that express those functions. The expression "pot" is also used to express the category in relation to the distinctions of the aggregate. Because it does not abandon the distinctions of the aggregate, it becomes consistent with them, like a pot of gold or silver. The sound of aggregate is of two kinds: one that applies to many aggregates and one that applies to one aggregate. The one that applies to many aggregates is the sound of pot and tree, etc. The one that applies to one aggregate is the sound of piercer, etc. In relation to its own aggregate, that sound of aggregate is abandoning. In relation to the distinction of the aggregate itself, that which is the sound of category does not abandon the distinction of the aggregate, so it has a common basis with those that express it. The sound of category and aggregate itself is just such a kind. Some are only the sound of category, for example, not of the nature of an aggregate.

Sounds such as form and pleasure, which have substance, are examples. Similarly, sounds such as numbers are those that relate to aggregates such as form. Some depend on the difference of the object and are the difference in the nature of both. If, like this, what is expressed by sounds such as pot is only form etc., then because there is no substance, the form etc. of the pot or felt cannot be distinguished. No, because that is how it is agreed upon. Therefore, whatever is the definite combination of sounds, it is expressed in that way, and even if there is no difference, it will be called that way. However, will it not be independent of need? That also exists. The pot is form etc., and when naming, it is close to its generality. Words are combined as: the difference that is close to the generality of the pot, what is the difference in its ability. The difference in its ability, that is, what is the difference in the ability that is determined separately by form etc., shows what it is. Pots etc. have clear differences, form etc. are the nature of the fruit determined separately by eye consciousness etc., and are distinguished by the sound of the difference of the pot, meaning that it shows the nature of having differences such as holding water. In this way, others can also be said. For example, the scent of sandalwood, the substance of sandalwood is not at all different from the scent etc. So what is it? From the many scents, what is the scent of the nature of sandalwood, it shows it in that way. These have been studied in detail before when thinking universally, so I will not repeat them here. By the way, that's the end. Therefore, the statement that the body is not unique is established. If the atoms become multiple, then is the collection of these atoms the ability of the mind itself? Or is each one? If temporarily all parts of the body are the cause, then all
