Whatever exists cannot be negated. For example, like the fruit of the palm tree and the actual substance of the emblic myrobalan. If there is no negation for things that exist, then it would become an obstruction to things that do not exist. In that case, according to your view, it would not enter into a state of non-existence. Moreover, it is not the nature of negation, nor is it non-negation. If there is no negation for that either, it will become the object of that. Therefore, since it is unreasonable, negation itself is not existent. In that case, through this reasoning, for the practitioner, the meaning of negation is also non-existent. The meaning of negation will be destroyed. If one obstructs the object for things that do not exist, then the meaning of negation is undeniable. If you say it is not in all ways, that is not the case. Because both negations are unreasonable. How does it exist? In whatever way something exists, it will not be negated. According to your tenets, how does something not exist, in that way it will also not be obstructed. Because you have not promised to obstruct things that do not exist. If it transforms in that way, for things that exist, in some way and in some form, it will become associated with the terms of action, agent, dharma, and subject. If according to your view, even for things that do not exist, there is a term dependent on it, if you ask in this way, we do not have that fault. Like you, we do not rely on the self-character of external objects to show the terms of affirmation and negation, but rather rely on what appears to the mind. Because the affirmation and negation of external objects are actually impossible to touch. It has been explained many times in that way. Things and non-things that have a basis, the meaning of external verbal sounds, the appearance to the mind of those who are attached to things as real, is dependent on things, and the appearance to those who are attached to non-things is dependent on non-existence. Relying on that is the meaning that appears to the mind. Here, all affirmation and negation are intentions, not dependent on the meaning of external objects. If that is the case, even if affirmation and negation are not ultimate truth, even if there are no such things, even if there are no external objects with the characteristics of affirmation and negation, the subject will appear to be related to those. That is also wanting to show the terms of affirmation and negation. Why is that?

If so, because of the entry of sound, it is because it appears to the mind there when the sound enters. If it is said to exist, it is to think that it does not actually depend on itself. If it is not like that, if at that time, one does not want to affirm or negate the object of meaning that appears to the mind, then, what is the dharma that actual things should be affirmed or negated, if it becomes two kinds of discrimination, that is, not other than external things, or it is other. Among them, the first kind of discrimination is that if a dharma is both affirmative and negative, if it is the author, then oneself, everything will become the negator and affirmer. Like this and so on, all dharmas will become affirmative and negative. Why? Because there is no multitude of self-nature. Dharmas come from the possessor of dharma. On different things, there is no collection of affirmation and negation on one possessor of dharma. It will become a non-common basis. How is it? Just like many negations and affirmations. If yours is also how? Here, in reality, it is not said to affirm or negate the possessor of dharma or some of its dharmas. Then what is it? Just like the mind, in showing the many dharmas of a possessor of dharma, just like having a support, when affirming a dharma, that possessor of dharma is dependent on it, just like the affirmative dharma and the possessor of dharma are related. The other dharmas whose nature has not been touched by affirmation and negation, just like completely abandoning. If one prevents a dharma, then it depends on it, just like the nature of decreasing. Different from this, just like what is not prevented is not abandoned. After showing the possessor of dharma, the discriminating mind, for things without meaning, shows the name well. The name that arises from sound, just like that, even if there is actually no substance of dharma and possessor of dharma, but the mind through discrimination, is actually existence or non-existence. The name shown in front of the mind's realm is dependent on different meanings, dependent on the follower who excludes others, will not harm the meaning of the worldly sound. How is it big? Arising from beginningless habits, shown by the discriminating mind that arises completely from the habits of beginningless names. That's it.
