It is able to refute, but it is not to refute reasons such as non-establishment. In this way, if the reason and example are not established, it will become a proposition, for example, sound is permanent, because it is visible to the eye; sound is permanent, because it has a body, like consciousness. Why? Because the causes with function are all objects of the three times, so it must be established, and this is also a proposition, which is difficult to refute. Therefore, whatever establishes permanence is not like that. Self-consciousness and so on are of the nature of impermanence and so on. In this way, when establishing non-establishment as such a nature to others, when establishing permanence, what is not desired to be established will also become a fault of what is to be established. Therefore, in the case of knowing, from the time of establishing for the sake of knowing, there is a slight non-establishment, that non-establishment is all, when distinguishing with the word to be established that is held without contradiction, what is desired to be refuted, with the difference of wanting to establish, it will not be determined as a tenet, and it will not be understood. If it is said that because the word to be established is a general word, it does not show the difference. Why would the words of non-establishment such as reasons become a proposition? If it is said that it is not all non-establishment, then, apart from the time of knowing, there is no other fault. Otherwise, rabbit horns, etc., although not established for everything, will also be established. Therefore, it should be thought that it will not become like that because it is the time of knowing. Although it will become like that, its own nature is action and agent, and the distinctions of what is to be established, and this cause with the agent is on the action, therefore, in the state of saying the action, what is to be established is said, and the establisher is not abandoned, then, by what will it become that which is to be established? When what the agent wants very much is action, the non-establishment of reasons etc. is not what is to be established. There are also four kinds of established limits, namely, the established limit of all continuums and

The tenet of the proponent's tradition, the tenet of the occasion, and the tenet of commitment. Because it is said that it is a statement to be established at that time, it is a vow to establish a tenet. The explanation of the nature of the tenet is also a vow to establish a tenet. In the occasions of the vow, reason, example, combination, and conclusion, the object itself that can be established is the limb to be established, it is only a vow, so it must be understood from the meaning. If the reason is not established, etc., then it is not a vow. So, what is to be established here is karma, in several ways, because everything cannot be established. Whatever is to be established, and whatever will be established, all are karma. Therefore, to those, etc., answer by establishing differences. Whatever exists, when contemplating, in order to know the difference of what is to be established, it is not capable. Saying etc., includes the occasion of the tenet etc. The limb is what is to be established, saying this, whatever is said to be a vow is also false. Why? Because it is the nature of not being established before. The proponent who initially wants to establish, or the establisher who does not want to establish, must understand the various differences of those from the words of the nature. In the occasion of the nature, whoever does not grasp the difference between the establisher and what is to be established, even if the reason etc. is not established, will still cling to it as a vow, in that case, from where do you want to distinguish? The occasion of the tenet is also not the establisher, like this, even if the reason etc. is not established, the tenet is the same. Why? Because those are also the nature of the commitment of the tenet of the proponent's tradition etc. Because there is no difference in the nature of commitment, from where do you distinguish those? If you do not admit the non-establishment etc., then merely explaining the cause that has the function for the things to be committed, will obtain the tenet itself. Is this also the dharma to be established, or the subject, or both? If only the subject is to be established
