It is not, because it is the object of the fundamental consciousness. It is also not appearance or sense faculty, because it is closely associated with the consciousness of meaning. It is also not without cause, because everything arises from everything at all times with its own nature. From what does this arising come, it should be stated. If it is so, then it changes, if that is the previous thought, by what previous thought does it hold itself, the later thought, the later thought is the one that arises, if so, then it does not transfer to other objects. If the consciousness of one meaning object, other and other flows until the existence of samsara, then, consciousness will not arise even slightly in other objects. Why? The arising of the object is not other. However, the one that arises in this way is the nature of the object, thus it is declared. Therefore, the nature of the object becomes close, that is, the close one is the arising one, this shows that it has not been long since it passed, it is said to abide in one cause. If so, then the consciousness that arises in the nature of close grasping, those without objects, how does the later consciousness hold on to others, that is, other objects. The previous thought is close, the later thought holds on, thus passing on, it does not transfer to other objects. Thus, the previous thought is definitely abiding in the nature of self-generating consciousness, the thought whose nature abides in the self-generating consciousness, the inner branch, self-holding, is an inner branch for generating consciousness, what is that to itself, what other external branch, that is, objects such as form, with what does it hinder. With what, apart from that, does the later consciousness hold the object. Thus, the doctrine is established by not transferring to other objects. The proximity of external objects also does not hinder it, this does not exist, because for the thought that has become an inner branch, the proximity of external objects also cannot hinder it, it cannot, because it is a later branch, thus it has been said. Also, the proximity of external objects also to it, when such a thought becomes an obstacle, in other meanings

When it is near, when it is near, some people will not experience my mind. In this way, experiencing things through one mind will be prevented. When the object of the mind is obstructed, the five kinds of beings in samsara are close to the object at some point. It does not exist. Because there is no obstruction at some point, some people will experience the mind. Therefore, because some minds are not experienced, the memory of the mind is also completely eliminated and becomes without reason. And the word "also" does not refer to some experiences, but refers to the memory of that mind also being interrupted, that is, it does not exist. Therefore, the so-called "desire is beautiful" is speculation. Eye consciousness, etc., when things are close, because there is obstruction, it is foolish to transfer to other realms. The discriminations of the past, etc., have the nature of arising from effort. For those who do not touch external objects, or do not depend on close things, things are not close. The consciousness of discrimination is continuous, because there is no obstruction to arising, so there is no meaning of transfer, so there is no reason to transfer from holding consciousness to other realms. Because there is no reason for transfer, the consciousness of discrimination is always continuous, in this way, the thinking of discrimination arising for other things will be interrupted, and the saying that thinking about things does not exist at all, this sentence will not be established either. If the thing that produces consciousness is ultimately in me, that is, the ability to produce consciousness on my object gradually runs out, then, this ability to produce consciousness runs out, and it will not produce consciousness on its own object. In this way, if consciousness transfers to other realms, when wanting that realm, the ability of the previous mind has been exhausted. From where the mind that produces things is that itself. If the consciousness arising from one realm is continuous, because the ability of the last consciousness is exhausted, when seeing things in other realms, there is no reason to approach at all, in this way, it will become not arising.
