it will exist. Among those things to be considered as fruit, two are the past senses, namely the senses and the object. If it is not a sign and the mind is not established, then the fruit of the mind will not be established, because the senses are established from the opposite of the fruit. If the mind is not established, then it will not be established. In that case, it is neither its sign nor the mind. Just as the senses can be established from the opposite of some fruits, it should not be understood that it is the cause of the general mind. However, it should be understood by the nature of the mind that this is the fruit of this mind. If not, it will not become the nature of the mind. However, it can be established that there is a little cause, but the establishment of the mind is not. If that mind or sense is not manifestly present, then from which sense or mind is it inferred? It is also non-existent to say that form etc. will become a sign, like this: of form etc., for the five objects, form vision arises, none of which is seen, which is born from the mind. What kind of thing is it? What is the possibility of other manifestations? For what is manifested and abandoned in other aspects, the words should be combined in this way. Without mind, nothing exists, which is a synonym for infallibility. Like this: in the way just said, what is ignorance and uncertainty, as a cause, universally observed beyond the world. This term is far beyond the world. If that is the case, various different kinds of things that are born, if there are also things of cause and effect, then that is the cause. If that fruit is not established, then it is not the cause of the mind, because there is no other possibility. It should be admitted and said: even if there is a sign, if that sign and the mind are not seen together, how can it be a sign? Because it is only possible to understand the opposite from not seeing the following of the sign, so it is not a synonym for knowledge. Because there is no following, it is not truly manifest either. If I can establish the mind, then before that, the movement of karma etc.

Therefore, one should infer others (other minds) by reasoning from abandoning this (one's own mind). Like this, if one's own mind is not directly perceived, then the subsequent inference does not exist, because there is no following. That will also appear when explaining actions that have a reverse nature. Why is it that even though there is a sign, there is still no speculation? Because it has been said that "the sign is pure," it is not a manifestor for what has not been seen. Whatever has not been taken as a connection with this, that which has not seen the connection is not a manifestor. Although it may change in that way, the sign by which one wants to prove that oneself has wisdom, that sign will prove that others have wisdom. If by proving it, others follow, thereby inferring oneself, then, if that is the case, one should admit or say that by that sign, previously this was a follower, thereby inferring that previously this has been established. Temporarily placing the mind close to another thing to be proven as an example, that is also another example to be proven, if it is not so, if it can be established there without an example, then why can't it be established here as well? If that is the case, other things without examples will also not be established. Therefore, if one follows other examples, that will also become endless. Therefore, because it has not been established on even one, there is no speculation on everything, in that way, it is impossible for establishment to occur for any follower. Therefore, that is to say, because of that reason, things can be established from the wisdom that will arise as the nature of self-manifestation, but things cannot establish that wisdom in any way. Why is that? If that has not been established, then the establishment of the object of perception will also not be established, because the thing itself has not been completely established. Therefore, for the time being, I have not realized wisdom.
