The cause of consciousness is also what generates the power of reason, and that also becomes an object. Therefore, having determined how something arises from where and in what manner, even if there is no consciousness arising from its own object, if there exists something that has become its own object, then when consciousness exists, it is not non-existent, because it appears as a thing. Because it arises following the form of the object, it is a thing, called manifestation, but it is not similar to this, nor does it occur simultaneously. Thus, other things that arise simultaneously, even if they have the same cause, do not produce form or similarity in consciousness. Because it does not produce similarity, and because it arises earlier in time than similarity, how can things that arise simultaneously without form, knowing by themselves in form, become clear? Why? Because there is no helper, because it does not act, so it is not an object, which means it is not a manifestation. Moments, because they are destructive, will not become clear to things that are not indicated, but the idea that this will be established for permanent things is also not good. Therefore, things like diamonds, whatever is called stable, is also the nature of its own ability to produce fruit, is the unchanging essence, therefore, in its own production of fruit, it does not depend on any co-acting conditions, because it does not depend on others. Because there is no abandonment of the cause, just as when there is no fruit that all beings wish to manifest, all consciousnesses with their own objects will arise simultaneously by themselves. Even if there is no ability, because there is no excellent action, there is no ability later, so it will not arise at any time. If consciousness arises gradually like conditions, it is because co-actors provide help. Therefore, things like diamonds and stones will arise gradually. The arising of consciousness is that diamonds and stones, with the nature of author and non-author, express and indicate the difference of each moment, therefore it is the moment itself. It is the moment itself.

However, the faults in the case of vajra and stone, etc., remain the same as before. Since there is no reason for destruction, why is it manifest from knowledge? After explaining "the knowledge of an object knows," etc., one has thoroughly established the two aspects of oneself. Now, it is also from later recollection, and it is not without certainty. Through "it is not so," etc., one desires to establish the two aspects, and one explains through "its nature," etc. The knowledge of an object, due to the difference in its knowing, merely by appearing as an object, not only makes consciousness two-fold, but also shows that experience is also from later recollection. By this reasoning, it is not the two aspects of appearing as an object and self-appearance. What is it then? From the time of self-awareness, it is also wrong to say that it is in the form of what is to be known and what is to be known. Thus, through "the knowledge of an object by its knowledge," etc., one intends to immediately establish the two aspects by appearing as an object. And it is also shown that wherever it is also from later recollection, in order to understand that it is the occasion of the two aspects, one connects by saying "it is precisely the two aspects," previously, the occasion of the two aspects is not in the form of what is to be known and what is to be known, because it is not permissible. Thus, having the aspect of self-appearance and object, that is, the consciousness that appears as two, what are the two aspects that are spoken of? That is also shown by "that also by appearing as an object," etc. Although it changes in this way, but there is no difference, the two aspects are generally proclaimed, and since it existed before, therefore later, when one desires the two aspects in the form of one's own experience, is there no fault even if one says that it is precisely the two aspects? If, in this way, the teacher intends to establish the two aspects, if self-awareness itself comes incidentally, then the nature to be established is other, and there is no fault with those two aspects, and by establishing through "it is not so," etc., one will not explain anything else. Therefore, from recollection, it is also by the aspect of the object and the aspect of experience itself that the two aspects are established.
