It has the splendor of peacock feathers with various colors. The mandala also appears blue, and the inside appears red. It becomes very clear and manifest. It cannot be determined that it is the nature of fire, because it holds the shape and place of fire differently. Therefore, the mind itself appears as such, so the mind appears as the object. Although it may change like that, but, if the mandala of fire and so on does not appear as the nature of other things, then, when knowledge becomes two ways, like this, the nature of the mandala and so on, seen by those with distorted views, will appear as another path. If it is said to be like that, then, the mandala and so on, if that is an external object, then, the sense faculty is clear, the viewer and the object, and what cannot be done close to that time? What is unbearable about the form of the mandala and so on? For what reason does one's own form only appear to the mind that has been harmed by the sense faculty, and not to the mind that has not been harmed by the sense faculty? That also holds its other nature, because it is what is to be held by the eye's sense faculty, this is the concluding remark. Furthermore, if the mandala is the object itself, and not the mind's delusion, then, the sense faculty is harmed, if what is seen is the true nature, then, how can it be seen as it exists? How is that the sense faculty is harmed? However, it is not like that, but like the person who sees the true meaning different from that. Because for things that are not like that, the mind appears like that, so it will become a distorted view. Commentary on the Explanation of Valid Cognition, Volume Thirty-three. Furthermore, the mandala of fire and so on does not appear to those whose sense faculties have not been harmed, the sense faculty of this person is confused, not harmed by cataracts, however, it is because of very familiarization, the sense faculty will become super-seeing. For what reason does only that one see it, and the others do not, this is the analysis. That person's eyes, whatever holds the mandala of fire and so on, the eyes do not

Even in a state where the senses are impaired, the so-called holding of a mandala is associated with the manifestation of things beyond the senses, so how can the things seen through the eyes of others, the things that ordinary eyes can understand, such as a vase, not be clear? What could be more inferior and unclear than that? If it becomes very clear, then it will not change, therefore, the state where the senses are impaired has also become like that, so other things will not appear. Thus, if something changes when something exists, and does not change even if there are other causes, then that is dependent on other causes, and is something that needs to be relied upon, and is a proximate cause, therefore it will become the holder of only those causes. Here also, it is from appearance, senses, and attention that the power of other lamps can be understood, but not through mandalas. If there are mandalas and so on in this, and it appears in the wisdom of the senses that changes with existence or non-existence, then at that time it will also become a capability, just like this, even if appearance, senses, and attention all exist, if the moon and so on do not exist, then it disappears because it does not exist, and if it exists, then it exists. Just as this can be seen because of the change of the result, other mandalas and so on are not things that can be seen. Because it is not something that can be seen, therefore others are not the cause. Mandalas and so on are the consciousness of appearance. How can a realm that is not a cause be? It has already been explained that it is not. Furthermore, if that mandala of lamps and so on is the cause of wisdom, why does it depend on the lamp? If it does not depend on the lamp, then approaching appearances and so on that are different from the lamp, knowledge will arise in its own realm like a vase and so on, just like this, only through the lamp can it become the wisdom that appears in the mandala. Because there is wisdom only through the lamp, the gathering of both the lamp and the mandala and so on is what you think is the cause, but neither of those will become the cause. Then what is it? From that, only the lamp is the cause, because it exists when it exists. For the wisdom of the state arising from two realms, only one realm
