This argument is not established. Because in this way, denying that it is not the mind's wisdom from exhalation and inhalation, etc. If the mind's consciousness arises from the body, does it arise from that which possesses faculties or that which does not? For the time being, the mind's consciousness does not arise from that which possesses faculties. Why? Because in that way, one would obtain a grasp like wisdom. If, like eye consciousness, etc., it is produced by relying on the eye faculty, etc., like the clear appearance of forms, etc., if the mind's consciousness is also its result, then it would become unclear. Because the changes and decay of each faculty also exist, it does not arise from each faculty. If it arises from all the aggregates? It does not arise from all either. It arises from all the faculties. The word "also" is because even if one faculty is missing, it would follow that this does not exist, just as if one co-operative factor is missing, sprouts, etc., will not arise. Why? Because the ability to generate knowledge is different. Therefore, if the mind's consciousness becomes the result of the faculties, then it will grasp all things, because it is produced by relying on one faculty, the names of all objects will be complete, and the other faculties will become meaningless. If they do not produce a consciousness that grasps all things, then there are many faculties, and it is also seen that the ability of those faculties to generate knowledge on their own objects is different. If it arises, then the discriminating consciousness is one, and the others do not exist, if that is the case, because it possesses all objects, it will obtain a grasp like that wisdom. Furthermore, in the case of incomplete faculties, etc., because of attachment, one's own consciousness will arise, and the mind's consciousness does not depend on it, all sentient beings will also generate self-awareness, so how can it be its result? It is not. Thus, it does not arise from that which possesses faculties. Nor does it arise from another that does not possess faculties. Why? Because there is no mind, so hair and nails

If mountaintops, etc., are inanimate, then what makes them become wisdom? If that is the cause, then those that have transferred from the body also become the cause of wisdom, and so does the dying body. The syllogism is: whatever is inanimate is not the support of the mind's consciousness, like odors, etc. If it is said that the limbs of a body without sense faculties are also inanimate, then the fallacy of contradictory pervasion is observed. If it transforms in that way, if the mind's body of wisdom does not become the support, then because there is no connection, it will transform separately like cows and horses, and will not exist together. Because they exist together, it is also called the support. The syllogism is: whatever is certain to exist together with something, those are mutually the nature of support and supported, like a lamp and red cloth and whiteness itself. If it is said that the body with sense faculties and the mind's consciousness also certainly exist together, then I think this is a reason of nature. By "different causes" etc., it shows uncertainty. Because they are things of support and supported, they do not exist together. Then what is it? The cause is not different, the cause of the continuum of the body with sense faculties and the mind's consciousness, that is, the previous karma that causes name and form to arise, is not different, therefore they exist together. Like what? Like the sense faculties, for example, the sense faculties do not exist together, but they are not things of support and supported. Like form and taste, form and taste depend on one aggregate, they exist together, but they are not mutually dependent things. Because when one transforms, the other does not transform. When existing together in the womb, they are not impure and things of support and supported. If it transforms in that way, if it is not certain that the sense faculties etc. exist together, then they are not things of support and supported, then that is the same for others, even without a body with sense faculties, in the formless realm, there is still mind's consciousness.
