|| It is explained by "formerly experienced is grasping," etc. In this regard, does the mind consciousness grasp the very meaning grasped by the sense consciousness, or is it different from that? If we examine these two, for the time being, if the sense consciousness is completely cut off and it is realized, then if we acknowledge that the meaning of formerly experienced is grasping, then the mind is not a valid cognition. It is like memory and desire, etc. Because a valid cognition is characterized by clarifying what is not known. Furthermore, if it is the very thing not seen by the sense consciousness that is grasped, then if grasping without seeing, even the blind, etc., will become able to see the meaning, and. By mentioning "etc.," it means that even the deaf, etc., will become aware of that object. The mind has two kinds of conceptualization regarding the object experienced by the sense consciousness. Does that meaning become momentary or not? If it is momentary, then because it is momentary, the past meaning cannot be seen. Does it occur simultaneously with the meaning of the object of sense consciousness, or does it exist in a way that it occurs earlier in time? Both ways are kalpas, so the mind consciousness, which exists in a way that it occurs later, does not grasp it. If it is not momentary, then even if the object of the sense object is not momentary, the mind that has that object as its object, the object of meaning cognition, will not become a valid cognition. If it is desired that the object of meaning cognition alone is a valid cognition, then the characteristic is: having form will become expressible. For example, even for the object of meaning cognition itself, the mind is devoid of manifest conceptualization. Furthermore, for whatever action there is accomplishment of activity, then for the action that accomplishes activity, without making any difference, the very thing previously known will become known, is it a sense or something else, the mind. Why do you want to accomplish it? One should not want to accomplish that accomplishment, because it is merely spreading out the accomplishment. In this regard, the very act of accomplishing does not exist, the wood has already been cut.

Like an axe. The explanation is that, for the karma of accomplishing things, if it cannot make even a slight difference, then it is not the accomplisher of accomplishing half of it. For example, in order to split a piece of wood in two, it is like the axe not doing anything. The immediately preceding mind consciousness also does not make any surpassing difference to the object realized by the previous sense consciousness in accomplishing things, which is called the determination of pervasive contradiction. Furthermore, if all minds were to arise simultaneously, what would happen? Those that arise from a stable object, those that arise from that object, this is called the object of the senses being momentary, which is another fault of being grasped by the mind consciousness. Why is that? Like this, if it has the power, then just as that mind produces one, its other causes should also arise simultaneously, because there is no difference. Although that would happen, there is no power for independent things, therefore it depends on the conditions of acting together. If that is occasional, then both should also be of a sequential nature, if you say so, that and that do not exist. Why is that? The other result of acting together, the difference is that it cannot be surpassed. Relying on it is relying on acting together, because it is contradictory. Like that, that has also been shown many times. Because there is such a fault, therefore, the mind is grasping other objects. What is it like? The consciousness of the senses, arising from the immediately preceding condition. The words should be combined like this: the consciousness of the senses, the same as it, arising from the immediately preceding condition, in whom it exists. That negates that it is its objective condition. Also through that condition, the mind enters the external object, but it is not autonomous, thus it is shown. That kind of mind is the consciousness of the mind. If, the object of sense consciousness, also grasps other objects, if that is the case, because it is the same as sense consciousness, it is produced from the immediately preceding condition, therefore a blind person.
