Therefore, just as beings who are lost see in dreams, even when awake, all terms such as birth and death exist, like beings who see things. What difference is there in these non-existent things? Just as the son of a barren woman and other things that do not exist at all also experience birth and death, like desiring beings, or it is not like that, because there is no difference. Therefore, due to delusion, things that are considered non-existent, even inverted appearances, will not exist. That is not of that nature. Who? All those who have not seen the supreme view. Those who, other than the Buddha, are in a state defiled by the grasped and the grasper. Only the Buddha knows the suchness, others do not. The Buddha Bhagavan, even though he has completely distinguished the aspects of inversion, establishes them as seen. Therefore, this is showing the cause of having attachment. If it is not that reason because of seeing the supreme view, then when speaking of the grasped and so on, those who have not seen the supreme view do not exist because there is no defilement of the grasped and the grasper. Because it is always defiled by the aspects of the grasped and the grasper, those things seen and defiled are different from the supreme and especially surpassing things. If there is no supreme view devoid of the two graspers in those things, then how can the suchness be known? Because the habits of the two graspers have not been eradicated from the root. When they see the absence of the two graspers, then they will see the suchness, because this is the nature of being devoid of the two graspers. Therefore, therefore, having the meaning of suchness, abandoning, having the nature of abandoning the meaning of suchness. Those Buddhas Bhagavan, with the manner of an elephant's retrospect, like an elephant, have seen the suchness of meaning, but show as if they have not seen it themselves. The mind of the world merely, enters the realm of external objects. For the meaning of how the world appears, proceed in the face of appearance, realize how it appears.

Do not cling to what is contrary to appearance, this is to begin to distinguish the characteristics of internal and external things. Like this to distinguish, also in order to seek its meaning, to show clinging to the whole etc. as a way to dispel, this is what exists. Commentary on the Pramāṇavārttika, Volume Twenty-Nine. How can the mind, which appears in various ways, be one? This is what exists. Thus, if the multiplicity of forms and the multiplicity of minds are the same fault, then in what way is the mind said to be one? The multiplicity of forms is also not, thus, the uncertain cause is also not. In order to show this, "knowledge blue etc." etc. are mentioned. For the multiplicity of knowledge, what is the cause of appearing as the multiplicity of blue? It is the difference of knowledge, the distinction of knowledge, that is, becoming the nature of experience. This is the meaning. It itself is one, not dependent on others, because it is the nature of knowledge, so knowledge itself is not like depending on other things. The state of appearance seen in the multiplicity, after changing like that, one cannot see the different appearances of yellow etc. different from it, because when it appears, all things different from it, having the nature of one knowledge, will also necessarily appear, and because one does not appear, the others also do not appear. Like this, when measuring, for it, the blue etc. images are different from yellow etc., this is blue. This is yellow, when distinguishing with other knowledge, when that image distinguishes in such a way, it is not looking for that knowledge, because that is not its essence. Then what is it? It will enter into things. Its knowledge will enter into the thing itself, this is the meaning. Therefore, when one image appears, it is neither all nor a little, thus, knowledge cannot distinguish the different appearances of blue etc. Similarly, the external object is also not diverse. Thus, when determining one blue etc., one will also see entering into other things.
