The entry of letters such as these is extremely rapid, so it becomes grasping without order. In that case, because the order is different, hearing will not become different. For example, like "sea" and "taste." Similarly, seeing the entry quickly, and the blue of water droplets, etc., also because the destruction is rapid, it becomes an attachment to grasping as one, like seeing a wheel of firebrands. Furthermore, here it refers to the side where consciousness does not arise simultaneously. The faculties, that is, the six from the eye, etc., up to the mind. Even if they exist, that is, if they exist. What are the faculties like? "With all meanings and simultaneously." Gathered ones, that is, those who have their own objects that become the object of experience simultaneously. That is not a description of the mind faculty, because that is not the object of the present. In that case, when one sees the melodious sound of a flute, etc., and hears the sound from it, and when one smells the fragrance of blue lotuses, etc., and tastes the flavor of camphor, etc., and when one touches cushions, etc., experiencing the tangible and thinking a little, all are perceived in a formless way. In that case, even if the faculties are functioning, the five consciousnesses are needed to decide. When each consciousness appears as if there is no interruption from the state of appearing in sequence, if no other consciousness enters, then why are the letters not heard simultaneously? It is said, "Like without interruption," etc. Like this, know that although the five consciousnesses are interrupted by being different, "Intelligence appears like without interruption." If that knowledge is interrupted by different kinds, then for "taste" and "sea," etc., grasping the letters that reach the end of the name, in the moment of knowledge that has that as its object, because the previous letters are mixed with knowledge, so it is not that they become the nature of grasping letters and are mixed into one. So what is it? It appears as interruption, that is, does each letter become the nature of grasping various natures and become interrupted? That is also because there is no staying in holding the wonderful moment, so it is only accomplishing the offering.

Therefore, here too, if seeing the parts of a letter become one, it becomes an offering, and it is not a change. Therefore, the mind changes in an instant. As it should be, the discriminating consciousness arises in an instant. Thus, this fault does not exist, because there is no interruption in seeing with discriminating thought. If it is not like that, then there is no difference in appearance either, how can there be an interval or no interval? Seeing with an interval is interrupted by the five consciousnesses with the characteristic of arising in sequence. Without interval, it is offered by consciousnesses of different kinds, if each of the six consciousnesses is present, then it will enter continuously without interruption, therefore, in this state, how can seeing not become a different appearance, it is indeed a change. Just as when the tip of a hair and so on move, although there is an interruption of pleasure and so on, what is the separate place, what is the separate offering, the two also only appear as separate. Likewise, there is also change in seeing. The connection is that whatever seeing has an interval and whatever has no interval, it appears as separate, for example, seeing the tip of a hair moving with interruption and without interruption. Each consciousness interrupted and uninterrupted by the five consciousnesses is also with interval and without interval, this is the reason of nature. Some mental discriminations also do not grasp in sequence. Therefore, when it is interrupted by the five for the sake of quick entry, but when seeing connects in an instant, when all the sense consciousnesses cease, even if only the discriminating consciousness of the mind enters as quickly, but there is no interruption at all, then it will not grasp the meaning in a very sequential way, and it will understand the mixture, which means grasping in an instant and being confused. When one accepts that the discriminating consciousness enters in an instant, then the meanings of the senses are all close in an instant, because they are separated from the interruption of other objects. Then it will not become a truly definite grasp, why, if the discriminating consciousness does not enter in an instant,
