When it becomes that way, what is not established? If impermanence, etc., are different things from the object, then the object will not be destroyed, because if other things exist, it will not be said that other things are destroyed. Therefore, it is also unreasonable to think that the object has become the nature of destruction, because the self-nature cannot become another self-nature outside of its own immovable self-nature. The self-nature of immovability For the phenomena established by the mind, which are discriminated like various self-natures, it is said to be various different terms by following what appears there, but in reality, it does not exist in its own essence. Therefore, it is said to be born from discrimination. Therefore, when the basis of the general is established, the basis of the dharma of impermanence, etc., the subject of sound, etc., is taken by direct perception, then the general itself is established, because the nature of impermanence, etc., which has become its nature, has been established. If it is not established, if the subject of sound, etc., which has the dharma of impermanence, etc., is not taken, then in order to thoroughly establish the subject of sound, etc., which has that dharma, in order to know the nature of impermanence, inference will intervene, which is an unfinished statement. Is it not because seeing the subject of color, etc., which has completely cut off its nature, is taken? If so, it is not established. If you ask: Because of what, in order to know it, is inference performed? The answer is: It is indeed so, it is not holding the entire nature with one part, but holding it in all aspects. Even if only the various different natures of impermanence, etc., are held, but due to confusion, its essence is certain, therefore it is not definite, and from the perspective of indefiniteness, it is the same as not being taken by sight, therefore, it is not a valid cognition for them. If so, if the appearance of seeing arises for it, and the determination of memory arises at that time, then because it intervenes through the gateway of memory, it is a valid cognition, otherwise it is not.

Because valid cognition is that which has the fruit of entering. If there arises a seeing that the nature of things different from all is without distinction, why does it not generate certainty in the aspects of experience as they are? If it is said that it is because their nature is not established, then it is not certain because of the experience itself. What is it then? Even when experience arises without distinction to all differences, there are aspects to which there is an offering of confusion, and even if there is no decision, only those aspects have reasons for certainty such as habituation, because only to them is it very and extremely close that it becomes certain. Therefore, for the arisen seeing, it is also established that what and what has certainty, and it is held that what is speakable, otherwise there is no fault. Also, because direct perception itself is the nature of certainty, this itself is a fault. Thus, the certainties know their own meaning, and this itself is the certainty of that meaning. Therefore, even through one different difference, when holding things that are of various natures, that benefit others, and that have the nature of being without remainder, because its certainty is an impermissible, not fully decided nature, it will not enter other valid cognitions, so it should be admitted that direct perception is not the nature of certainty. Therefore, in order to cut off the imputation of having reasons as they are, inference enters, which has already been explained in detail above. Therefore, for some who do not know at all, when the continuum is not interrupted, whatever things are of the nature of impermanence, etc., are confused, because the difference of the moments of cause is not seen. It is not certain. What is it like? Like the difference of eggs. Just as the difference of two eggs has been seen, but due to reasons of confusion such as being very fast, the viewer is attached to no difference, and is certain that they are two eggs. What is the cause of confusion? There are other similarities
