If the Samkhyas do not think so, but define reality and approximation from the perspective of ordinary people, then what is the use of clinging to non-existent things? Therefore, for any thing, even if it is indistinguishable from non-things, beings will assign sounds. For example, the sound of a lion is a real sound for a lion. This is because of similarity, that is, the similarity of the qualities of the thing referred to by the sound. Other beings with erroneous cognitions are secondary. Their knowledge is mistaken, like that of a Brahmin's child. Therefore, for past pots and the like, there will also arise non-erroneous, non-approximate cognitions, just like for present pots and the like. In this way, even in the darkness, since there is no real difference due to the application of sound, I cannot find any fault to find. The argument is: whatever is the object of non-erroneous knowledge, that dharma is real. For example, the knowledge of angry and ignorant people about a cow is non-erroneous, so the dharma of a cow is real. Past and future pots are also objects of non-erroneous knowledge, which is a reasoning of nature. Whatever knowledge is non-erroneous by reputation is real, and the object of erroneous knowledge that has the same qualities as it is called secondary. If this definition of worldly reality and secondary is eliminated, and you say that things with approximate existence are real, and others are secondary, then the definition of reality and approximation is also erroneous. To illustrate this, "How to call things" and so on are quoted. How can one call a powerless thing a non-thing? This is done by the listeners (i.e., people). For example, someone wants to call his own pot and other things in some way, but because there is no ability to produce results, it is like calling non-existent things, such as rabbit horns or the son of a barren woman. Therefore, it is absurd to use the name of non-existence for existing things. For non-existent things, such as rabbit horns, the reverse is true. How can there be no ability as assumed, or for ability, the listeners (i.e., people) will think it is the main thing, etc., which is conjectured by the Samkhyas.

Even if there is no chief, etc., the world does not want such a thing to exist. If that is the case, even if it does not exist, just as it is investigated, the chief, etc., will intervene, and some people who are unable to do many things will also make others listen. For example, this is the chief and the doer, etc. Just like all the opposite things that have been investigated, this is the Purusha (Sanskrit: Purusha, IAST: puruṣa, Literal meaning: man) of Samkhya, etc., just like listening to others. Even if there is no view of the Samkhyas, the intervention of sound is real, and it is the father of the Purusha (Sanskrit: Purusha, IAST: puruṣa, Literal meaning: man) who wants to appear elsewhere. If, according to your view, approximating to non-existent things and intervening in things is real, then that is not the case, therefore your definition of real and approximate attribution is wrong. We are just like making conventions about whether universal things exist or not, the intervention of sound is like this, so there is no attachment. If that is the case, because it can be expressed, and because it cannot be expressed, after showing that universal things do not exist, from destruction, what kind of wisdom is there in sound? etc., this shows another way of reasoning. For destroyed pots, etc., what kind of wisdom is there in the sound of pots, etc.? Even if wisdom is not destroyed, such a manifestation will appear. Just like saying becoming a pot and going to become a pot, what kind of manifestation is the knowledge of producing a pot? Just like a pot exists, even from the sound of the object of the present pot, for the knowledge that does not do the work of human senses, the same manifestation will appear. However, there are different differences related to time. Ears and other various knowledge, those are not in meaningful things. Eyes and other various knowledge, for the knowledge that produces meaningful objects such as form, etc., just as it is said, there is no difference in the manifestation of knowledge with meaningless objects. Just like the state of clearly appearing in a way that is close to things, it is shown by the nature of inconsistent dharmas. Therefore, because there is no difference from the manifestation of knowledge of objects without things
