Even if it is not expressed now, cloth and a vase are different. Since it can be said that cloth and a vase are different, then, since sameness and difference can be expressed from a general object, therefore, since it cannot be said, this reasoning is not established. Therefore, if it is said that because it can be expressed, it is a general object, then the answer of non-establishment is made by 'things' and so on. If the collection of vases can be said to be different from the object called cloth, then, it cannot be expressed from its own collection. That which cannot be expressed is also asserted because it is not an object itself. If it is not so, even if it does not change from that, it also exists, because it is itself without inherent existence. Things are not in some way inexpressible. There is nothing that cannot be expressed from some nature of things, because it has not gone beyond the concepts of same and different. Therefore, this reasoning is universally applicable, just as whatever cannot be expressed from any object is not an object, so it is not unestablished. Or, this reasoning is also not unestablished because there is no difference, just as the vase itself cannot be said to be different from the cloth. Why? Because the proximate causes are different and thus different. Because it is considered approximately. Because, the proximate cause of the vase, that is, the form and so on that exist as objects, are essentially different from the proximate cause of the cloth, that is, the objects that exist, belonging to that difference, and the vase and cloth named through their proximate causes are also approximately named, therefore they are said to be different. If the vase and so on do not actually exist, then how can it be said to be the same or different from something? Furthermore: For past and future things, there is also equality by virtue of having a general cause and a general basis. If sounds change, they will be recorded, such as 'became a vase' and 'will become a vase'. If general

When sounds are established through being the basis of becoming an existent, since the past and future pot are non-things, existence, that is, what is called becoming a general thing, is the reason. How does a non-existent dharma change? It does not change. The dharma of the past, etc., which is a non-thing, is not reasonable, this is the result of valid cognition. The probandum is: whatever is a thing does not become a dharma of non-thing, like the form that produces eye consciousness. The general is also a thing, this is the perception of contradictory pervasion. Or, whatever is a dharma of non-thing does not become a thing, like the non-existence of the four non-existences. The general, which is established in the past and future, is also a dharma of non-thing, this is the very perception of contradictory pervasion. Thus, transformation certainly exists, if one desires it from approximation. It is true that the sound of the general cause is not established on the past, etc., pot, which is similar to the present pot. However, it is established on what is close to the class. Establishment on approximation is not established from the aspect of the general becoming the basis of an existent, so it is thought. If there is some reason for approximation, then it will be established from the aspect of approximation, because it itself is not existent, thus there is no establishment of sound from approximation. Thus, what is the approximation of the present pot? The establishment of sound is the dharma of reason. The pot with the characteristic of non-existence and the past, etc., is non-existent, and together with the thing of the present pot. The cloth, etc., is non-existent, what is close? For what reason is the sound of the pot not established from the approximation to the cloth, and the approximation to the pot itself is not transformed from non-existence in the slightest. Thus, transformation certainly exists, how is it that the present pot holds water, etc., and the past and future pots have become and will become, is this the reason for approximation?
