And similarly, with regard to the truths of cessation and the path, they also cling to the four aspects of their true nature by perversely superimposing upon them. If that is the case, with regard to the four truths, clinging to the sixteen incorrect aspects such as permanence, pleasure, self, and belonging to self, due to not understanding, they completely crave for happiness and so on. This shows the ignorance that is the perversion of the path, and the craving that arises from it and is its nature, which becomes the cause of suffering. Therefore, when the path is contrary to ignorance, it also means that it is contrary to craving in meaning. With regard to "that itself," etc., it shows that from the aspects superimposed by ignorance, taking the opposite as the object is the very antidote of the path. The four truths, that itself is the meaning of its opposite, that itself is the one who realizes the aspects. The aspect of true meaning is the aspect of the reality of meaning, that is, impermanence, etc. What is contrary to these is contrary to all the aspects superimposed by ignorance, etc., which is the meaning of being the nature of its aspects and the nature of perversion. The way in which the aspects are realized, understood, and known is the very correct view that has the characteristic of seeing selflessness, that is what it is called. This is classified as an antidote because it is the opposite of the nature of the cause of suffering. Because this is an antidote and not a ritual such as empowerment, therefore, this itself is, well cultivated by correct view. When one cultivates in the correct way and becomes its nature, the followers of craving are destroyed together. The faults such as stinginess and jealousy, which have become the cause of suffering, are destroyed together. The suffering that has the characteristic of birth with three causes, that is, karma and afflictions, and the body, these three have these three causes, that is, having three causes. If there is abandonment of afflictions such as attachment to the view of self and what belongs to self, then the lord of birth will not arise. Connected to this, there will also be no arising of a birth that did not exist before. Karma and

Even in time and place, even if there are remnants that appear as causes, but because one (cause) is missing, because one cause with the nature of affliction is missing, even if the causes of those who have abandoned afflictions are not complete, existence will not arise. If asked: How is it? Like a sprout without a seed. For example, even if there are remaining causes such as earth, but because one seed is missing, the sprout will not grow, just like that. The application is: Whatever is incomplete in cause will not arise, for example, a sprout that is incomplete in cause, etc. Those who have abandoned attachment to the view of self and what belongs to self, saying that their rebirth is incomplete in cause, this is because of the contradiction of pervasion. If, whenever karma and body are also causes, even if one is missing, it will not arise, then, saying that these are liberated from exhaustion, are those statements reasonable? Answer: That is not that karma and body are abandoned, if it is not abandoned by ability or reason, then by what are they abandoned, so that they will not be reborn? Why? Because the aspect of the antidote does not exist. Whoever wants to abandon this which is preceded by conceptual thought, if he can understand the aspect of the antidote, and strives to cultivate the antidote in order to abandon it, if this conceptual thinker cannot realize by measuring the degree of cultivation of the antidote to karma and body, then how will he enter because karma etc. are exhausted? Therefore, because the aspect of the antidote does not exist. The meaning of this sentence is that it needs to be abandoned only because it cannot be realized. Therefore, saying that there is no realization of the aspect of the antidote is to show the reason for not being able to realize, and it is not to prevent the aspect of the antidote in any case. In that case, when it becomes the aspect of the antidote established from scripture, it is only by faith, and not by conceptual thought, that it is determined, and for the uncertain, one will not strive to cultivate with conceptual thought, and if one strives to cultivate, it will not be preceded by conceptual thought. Therefore, the aspect of the antidote is uncertain, then
