It is also like that. Or, there is no difference in one vehicle. As it is said: Shariputra, you should trust me, you must listen! Shariputra, the Tathagata does not have falsehood. Shariputra, there is only this one vehicle, which is the Buddha vehicle. Eliminating suffering means abandoning suffering and afflictions. A vessel refers to the different faculties of the listener, or the different lineages. The taste changing into many means the vehicle changing into two, three, or four kinds. It is also said: The vehicle of the gods and the vehicle of Brahma, the Hearers and Solitary Realizers of the Sugata, I have spoken of the differences in vehicles. If it is said that previously it was said that the taste is one, that is, the vehicle is said to be one, is this contradictory? It is not contradictory, because it is said in order, based on the definitive meaning and the provisional meaning. Having praised the Dharma in this way, praising the Sangha, praising the perfect intention, that is, "the vessel is vast," this half verse. The great ocean is the container of rivers, vast, deep, immaculate, clear above and below, able to bear ships and so on, able to endure heavy burdens, able to be used for bathing and drinking, and is the abode of fish and turtles and so on. Just as it possesses eight qualities, so too is the Sangha. Among them, the Sangha is the vessel for becoming the lineage of qualities, the vast intention is to remember the four immeasurables, because it is focused on all sentient beings. The profound intention is to remember the two selflessnesses, because it is difficult to fathom. The immaculate intention is because it is free from the six stains. As it is said: Furthermore, there are the six stains of affliction, deceit and flattery and arrogance, likewise anger and resentment, and harming. The clear intention is because it dispels the darkness of affliction. The perfect application is "able to endure all burdens," this three-quarters of a verse. Among them, being able to endure burdens means not being weary when doing things for the benefit of others. It is also said: For example, a well-tamed and powerful elephant, even if carrying heavy loads, will not become tired. Similarly, a well-tamed Bodhisattva, sentient beings

The burden does not cause discouragement. Like this, and also: Those who carry the heavy burden of sentient beings on their heads, it is not fitting for a noble mind to walk slowly. Because the bonds of oneself and others are tightly bound by various things, one should act with a hundredfold effort. It is said like this. All people should properly serve the Sangha. What should be closely practiced is heaven and liberation. Abiding in that is the basis for attaining them. Then, isn't the Sangha also the basis for other sentient beings? Why is it only spoken of as the form of humans? Because it is the majority of cases. Having spoken of offering in this way, the fault of not accepting the excellent Dharma that speaks of instructions is: which ones? This is one verse. Those who do not enter this teaching, whose births arise from the womb and so on. Aging is the change of age. Death is the change of life. Ambrosia is the excellent Dharma. Hearing it, one cannot attain it; contemplating it, one cannot practice it; meditating on it, one cannot grasp it. Or it corresponds to the three trainings in order. Or it corresponds to the three vehicles. Then, what fault is there in that? Those have many faults, these are two lines. The fault of holding and then releasing is, for all beings, this is one verse. The eye is the Dharma, because it enables one to see the path and the non-path. The immaculate Agama is the immaculate expression, and realization is its cause. The three realms are the three realms. The benefit of holding and not releasing is, enlightenment, these are four lines. Establishing the basis of training is those who have vowed to practice and abandon. Relying on a firm foundation is to prevent the vows from degenerating. The great status is heaven. The higher status is liberation. Falling to the original place is being born in an unfree place. Discipline is like a boat that serves as a basis for crossing the ocean of existence. Coming into hand is obtaining it. Abandoning is making it empty or degenerating. If one abandons, what fault will there be? Of the noble ones, these are two lines. The precipice is going to the lower realms, because it falls downwards from the happy realms. It is also said: Twenty thousand leagues below this, is Avici hell. Just so and so, and also falling over a thousand yojanas, for a long time.
