Thereafter, the youths, having reached the age of eight, together with the youth Moon, relied on a certain lama in order to master the king's knowledge. All the youths were single-mindedly engrossed in pursuits such as chasing after fleeing deer, and in many aspects of virtue, the youth Moon surpassed them in splendor and strength of arms, giving rise to merit, friendliness, and good intelligence, being extremely weighty, a worthy object of praise. A fault is that, for some great individuals, the very lightness of the ultimate of birth is forbidden. For even though people are born from great lineages, they will be seen as no different from dogs. From an ocean filled with a collection of jewels, will not a fish that clears away sewage be born? Truly equal to the color blue, Like an uncut sapphire. Dwelling upon the jewel, it is worthy of praise, For dwelling upon the holy, virtues naturally arise. Even among those with form, There are a few with the color of sapphire. Holding it, is also its virtue. Thereafter, the king invested that bodhisattva prince with the authority of the royal succession, and also gave some lands to those youths. After that, Moon, with the permission of the lord of men, together with his brothers, returned to his own land, and seeing all the implements named with the name "Holder of Fragments," he said, "In every way, the land alone is our father the king, the continuation of affection and the master."
